No Women Comedians?

No Women Comedians? Or a Few?

There are so few women comedians, which is sad. Why do you think this is so? Will we ever see a new Laughter Champion? Is it that women have less sense of humor than men? Or is to that they are more serious? I am very confused.

😆 or maybe it's coz in our culture it may be frownd upon...

people might see it as "apna jaloos nikaal rahi hai"

*shrugs*

but it DEF. isnt that we dont have a sense of humour or that we're always angry 😆

In telugu films we used to have good women comedians but as the time passes comedy turned into vulgarity those wonderful class of comedians vanished!!!

I agree with you, there are very few women comedians but at least there are some. There is a field, where women don't get involved at all:FIRE DEPARTMENT. 😆 😆 😆 because woman are well known to put the fire ON not OFF. 😆 😆 😆 Specially Indian women.( Its just a joke, no offence to anyone. I am myself is a proud Indian Woman.)

yeh ur ryt der's hardly newoman as a stand up comedian i suppose its coz u have to do sum vulgar dialogues with actions and therefore a woman would be frowned upon doing that

example johnny lever doing an imitation of Michale Jackson and wer all aware of his trademark a woman doing that (esp asain woman) would shock the society

but hell yeah women are just as funny as men if not funnier 😆
