The show begins from where it ended yesterday with the Shiv (S), Ira and Meenu (CM) conversation. CM tells Ira that they should be proud of having a son like S who understands and takes care of his wife so well. Ira looks very ashamed and apologizes for her brash action. She says that she made a mistake by only going by what Sachi told her and made a big mistake. She also apologizes saying that she should have spoken to S first. S tells Ira not to be sorry as he understands that she did all that only because she loves and cares for S's happiness. He then tells Ira that he is not angry with her but hurt since this was a very personal issue of his and A's. Ira then tries to call someone. S stops her asking who she was trying to call. Ira replies that she wants to talk to Sumitra to say sorry as well as assure her not to worry too much. S tells her that he will personally meet Sumitra, apologize on Ira's behalf and clear the misunderstanding.
Badi Haveli
A nurse is attending Gehna in her room when Ganga (G) comes searching for Sumitra since Dadi Sa (DS) was asking for her. Basant tells her that Sumitra might be in her room. G replies that she did not find Sumitra anywhere in the house. The nurse is about to give Gehena an injection. Seeing Gehena scared Basant and Ganga assure her not to be scared of it. The nurse is about to put the injection when G notices a very scared Basant who is trying to avoid seeing his wife being injected. G diverts Gehena's attention from the needle to Basant comparing Basant's terrified face to that of a child who is scared while a fire cracker is about to burst. The nurse injects Gehena in the meanwhile and all of them are happy that she did not feel the pain. G then goes away saying that DS may be looking for her. Basant and Gehena appreciate G's smartness in diverting thier attention during the procedure. Basant then hopes that the medication can continue in this way without DS's knowledge.
The nurse is leaving the haveli when DS sees her and calls out to her. DS asks the nurse as to what kind of weakness does Gehena have that she needs to be injected everyday. The nurse replies that in such situations a woman needs a lot of energy. DS is worried and asks her what the problem was. The nurse is about to reveal the reason when Sumitra interrupts the nurse and asks her to leave. Ds then asks Sumitra what the problem was. Sumitra replies that Gehena is very weak and hence she needs an injection everyday to keep her energetic. DS complaints that the family needs to eat well in order to stay healthy and then goes away.
Bhairav then enters and asks Sumitra about the conversation she had with Ira. Sumitra reveals the details which leaves Bhairav worried. He asks her if Anandi (A) has never spoken to her about this issue. Sumitra replies that A has never told her about this issue. Infact seeing A so happy in the past few days she was assured that A is very happy with S and that she has forgotten her past and accepted S. But after her conversation with Ira she feels that the past has not left haunting A. Sumitra tells Bhairav that A only married S in order to fulfill her mother's wish or else she was never ready for the marriage. Bhairav replies that this is a very serious issue and he is happy that Ira revealed this to them. Just then they see a worried S enter.
S tells Sumitra and Bhairav that Ira was unnecessarily worried and there is no problem between A and him. He apologizes on Ira's behalf for troubling them. He says that when Ira realized that she was unnecessarily worried she wanted to apologize to Sumitra. Bhairav replies that as a mother its quite natural that Ira will be concerned about S's happiness. Sumitra then asks S if what Ira told her was wrong. S replies that it was not wrong. He explains that it is not easy for A to accept a new relationship given her past neither does she want to hurt S in any way. Hence S himself promised A that he will not force her in any way. He assures Sumitra and Bhairav that A and he are very happy with eachother. Sumitra appreciates S maturity and patience and says that its unbelievable how a person can be so nice. S replies that he has learned all this from A's niceness. Bhairav tells S that they will be forever indebted to S for what he is doing. S replies that he is not doing any one a favor but basic understanding is needed in a husband and wife relationship. He then requests them not to reveal this to A. they assure him that they will not let A know about this or else she would start blaming herself.
In the next scene DS is telling her self that the family is hiding something from her related to Gehena's health and hence Sumitra interrupted the nurse. Ds is worried if Gehena has some serious illness. Just then she sees a syringe fallen on the floor. She decides to investigate what the problem is. Just then Nandu is passing from there. DS takes him to her room where he can read what's written on the syringe. DS calls a medical store and tells the store keeper that she wants to inquire about some medication the name of which Nandu will read out to him. Nandu spells the name out to the store keeper. DS then asks the store keeper what the medication is for. He replies that it is used for women who have problems conceiving. Ds is shocked to hear this and remembers the past how the family hid all this from her.
In the next scene Basant is asking Gehena to rest well. He then asks her if she has a lot of discomfort due to this procedure. Gehena replies that for such a big happiness she can very happily bear all this pain. Basant tells Gehena that he is worried if all their efforts will be futile. Basant tells her that he will ask Jagya (J) about their chances. He then assures a worried Gehena that things will work in their favor and once they have a good news they will reveal it to DS as well. Gehena expresses how she doesn't like hiding such an important thing from DS. Basant agrees to her and says that when the right time come? After the kid is born or after she dies? Gehena and Basant are shocked.
Voice over: In joint families no big decision is made without taking the advice of elders. Any decision made without their opinion hurts the feelings of the elders.
Precap: DS is angry with the whole family that they hid this issue from only her when the whole family knew about it. She shouts at Basant asking him if he is going to challenge nature by doing this procedure. J comes there and says that Basant is not doing anything like that.
