I agree with you SLB is known for his sad tragic love stories...I think this show will also have a tragic ending because the novel its based on has a tragic end and I don't think SLB will do poetic unjustice to that novel. The whole novel was based on a woman choosing culture and society over love at the end when kumud becomes a widow she convices saras to marry her sister not herself cuz it was against society at the time to marry a widow. And saras does his cultural and social duties after marriage to the sister.

But in the intro SLB said he will fulfil the love story and audiance would not accept that story.

I'm okay with it being a tragedy and seeing that it's an SLB story, it will probably go that way. However, I hope it doesn't go completely by the book. SLB may have changed some things around but I hope it's an interpretation of the book but not a complete show based on the book.

if storyline will go as novel than it has to be end as tragic and slb is famous for his tragic ending and passionate lovestory as u have given all good examples especially ash and sonam 🤣 i think slb will end it tragic only

tragic ending would make it epic and i would personally favour that but i don't wanna see them getting married to others and then uniting after 3-4 weddings.

You know how Sanjay Leela Bhansali's stories are all so romantic and passionate? Well, there is one more thing that they are...tragedy.

Devdas - Paro and Devdas never meet, and Devdas dies! So they are star-crossed lovers, and do not end up with each other.

HDDCS - I love this movie so much! But only the starting! After Salman leaves, I am all 😳 Whatever babe! But anyways, I loved them, sadly, they don't end up with each other too! She chooses the AD!

And then Saawariya was a flop, but ki fark painda hain? Still a SLB story, right? 😆 Well, even in Saawariya, she is taken away by someone else! (I think Salman was destined to be with Sonam and that is why he was rejected by Aishwariya in HDDCS! 🤣 )

Anyways, so I am worried that SC will end up the same way!
