So, this was one thing that had been killing me since I saw the promos, and everything. Let's not play tomatina! 😆 {i.e, don't throw tomatoes at me}

You know how Sanjay Leela Bhansali's stories are all so romantic and passionate? Well, there is one more thing that they are...tragedy.

Devdas - Paro and Devdas never meet, and Devdas dies! So they are star-crossed lovers, and do not end up with each other.

HDDCS - I love this movie so much! But only the starting! After Salman leaves, I am all 😳 Whatever babe! But anyways, I loved them, sadly, they don't end up with each other too! She chooses the AD!

And then Saawariya was a flop, but ki fark painda hain? Still a SLB story, right? 😆 Well, even in Saawariya, she is taken away by someone else! (I think Salman was destined to be with Sonam and that is why he was rejected by Aishwariya in HDDCS! 🤣 )

Anyways, so I am worried that SC will end up the same way!

So, is it just me? or do you guys think so too? I don't want a tragedyyy! 😭 🤢

The novel is a tragedy too. They don't end up with each other.

i was actually going to make the same thread..

ppl remember tragic love story n slb know this...

bt its okay wid a movie n nt a serial...

i seriously dnt want him to end up the serial like the novel...

i kinda like tragic endings. However, from all the promos i have a feeling that this love story will have a happy ending. "Adhuri Kahani ab hogi puri"

I don't 😆, but it depends on our choice, doesn't it? 😆

Well, now that I think about that..it's relieving! I don't think I can handle crying so much for so many months, and not just 3 hours! 🤣

Its too early to think abt ending
ik abt d ending of d novel bt still its shw should enjoy it u never knw wht they have planned nxt n as per slb's statement he is ready fr changes n he did bit of it in d serial so as of nw m just enjoying d serial...

🤣 they cant for a fact show crying🤔 Coz TV audience watches shows to relax and not to sit with tissue papers... i dont know.. as of now.. it is hard to believe that in future KS goes through so much of pain

somewhere in the story of the show( exclude the novel here) they'll have to show the tragedy of separation which was the poignant basis of their meeting again n remembering the love they had.

so we will have a "tragedy in disguise" in between like the novel , as it was a major plot in it...
but how the end builts up with it in the show is all dependent on the creatives.

SLB killed his Devdas like the novel did.
Anurag Kashyap didnt kill his Devdas in DevD

so maybe for the sake of re innovating the "mohabbat" SLB wont take away Saras from Kumud.

I know, and that is exactly why I don't want a dramatic show. I like shows that make me laugh and relax, rather than complicated drama...but for some reason, I think this show has potential for what we call the "Pure Entertainment". Hopefully, it will happen.

I know right? SLB changes the story to a less saas-bahu drama and more of a lover's drama. Or something like that. :/

I am not worried about the turns journey takes, I just don't want the final destination tobe different.

The thing is, SLB is the one producing this story, and he might just go with the novel. But since everybody already knows the story's end, he might change it. Hopefully he will! Maybe not the way we expect it to be changed, but in his own creative way!
