In the evening Maan did not come, she waited for him, she did not have her dinner and DM did not force her, the old lady knew that she was hurt by her grandson's behavior.

Maan came in after 11 pm, she quietly arranged dinner, and he looked at her,

M: I have had my dinner

G: I know you have not

M: I don't want to eat, I am full

G: you will not eat even after knowing that I have not had my dinner, I was waiting for you

M: why were you waiting for me?

G: I always do

M: ok from today onwards don't wait

G: ok I will not, but what about now?

M: arrange a plate for yourself

G: I will not eat until you join me

M: who do you think you are? You can't force me to do what you think is right

Geet was hurt but she swallowed it

G: I am sorry, if I have done something to hurt you. Please have few bites (her tears were threatening to pour out)

M: ok serve

She served him dinner and also served for her

They silently ate it, after that Maan stood and was about to leave when she blocked his way, he gave her a stern look, she ignored

G: What is bothering you?

He kept silent

G: Have I done something wrong?

He sighed and ruffled his hair in frustration

G: What is my Mistake?

M: Geet, why do you think that you are the most important person in the world? Why do you think that you are so important that I only can think about you? Listen I am a busy man, and I have a lot more important things then thinking about you.

He left after saying this, she was broke, she cribbed at her luck, today is her birthday and since morning what she is getting, just his anger, what fantastic way to celebrate her 21^st birthday.

But still she had at least achieved something fruitful today, she was finally able to get the trust money and implement what she had been thinking since long.

He went to his room feeling frustrated, he was about to throw his coat when his eyes went to the clock, it was 11:45 pm, it suddenly struck him that today was her birthday that too 21^st and he had not yet wished her. He cursed himself for forgetting to wish her, she must be expecting at least Happy Birthday from him, and he remembered how hopefully she had looked at him at the breakfast table.

He instantly left his room and headed for hers, she was not there, Angel was sleeping peacefully, but where was Geet, and he looked around.

He went to the terrace and found her there, she was looking at the moon, he came near her and she turned sensing his presence. She had wiped the lone tear trailing her cheek, but he had seen it.

He came near her, she looked everywhere but him, he slowly closed the distance and said, "Happy Birthday Geet"

She looked at him startled and after few seconds could comprehend that he was wishing her, she smiled sadly and said, "Thank You" and turned to let her back face him, she did not want him to see the tears that were clouding her eyes.

He had a strong urge to touch her, his mind stopped him, but after the battle between the heart and mind, his heart won, after all she is his wife though just on papers, but still she is, he closed the distance between them and hugged her.

She was shocked by this and instantly stiffened, he could understand but he did not move back, he thought that if she wants to get rid of his touch let her do it on her own.

After few seconds she turned to face him, still in his arms and pouted, "My Gift?"

He smiled at her and made a face, "It is in my room, wait I will just bring it"

She sniffed, "I will also come with you, what if you change your mind and again come back to your angry mode"

He just gave up, and as they went to his room she did not leave his arm.

He gave her the small packet and she opened it, it had a gold chain in it, she gave him a quizzical look and extracted it, the chain had a pendent in the shape of bursting sun, made of yellow sapphire in the middle and the rays were of diamond, turquoise, ruby, garnet, pearl, emerald and topaz.

It was beautiful as she traced it with her fingers he took it and clicked it, and there it opened; it had 3 frames 1^st had her photo and 2^nd had Angel's and 3^rd was empty, she smiled and he closed it.

He asked her to wear it, but she nodded in a No; he was disappointed; she turned to again face her back at him and slowly said "Aap pehna do" and moved her hair to one side to make him let her wear it.

He slipped the chain in her neck and as he was fastening the clasps his fingers lingered a little more than required on her skin, she smiled and felt shy.

When he was done she turned and said, "it's beautiful" and kissed his cheek, this time she did not run but stood there in front of him looking at the floor.

He was startled just like that day, he kept his palm on his cheek it burned, she looked at him when the silence lingered a little long, and was amused to see his expression, she had become bold now and his today's behavior has made her realize that it was she who will have to propose him. She promised that she will when the time will come but for now she will make him give her a birthday kiss.

She said, "It's going to be 12 in a minute, don't you think I at least deserve a little more from you to compensate your anger"

He gave her a guilty look, "what do you want?"

She challenged him, "you will not be able to give it, so let me just leave"

He did not like it, "I will, whatever you say, a gentleman's promise"

She said, "Sure" he replied, "SURE!"

She smiled, "give me a birthday kiss"

And not to say girls he kissed her, and was so drowned in her fragrance that the session continued till they were out of breath

sorry to disappoint you girls but kissing can not be explained, 😉 remember why!!!1😆
