There has been numerous shows where the male protagonist takes time to accpet his wife...many times he refuses to aknowledge her as his legal wife and the wife is expected to win him over by her good ness...finally he accepts her with her efforts of course and everyone appaulds wat a romantic story !!
But wen a woman is taking her time...she is being labeled as frigid,uncaring,scheaming...accused of playing with emotions as if its her duty to sleep with him on demand.
Why such double standards for woman ??

Just because she is woman she has no right over her body ? she shld just compromise cos its her duty?? Is mariage just abt physical intimacy??
Anandi is very caring and ideal wife...she pays attention to all Shiv's needs...even on mundane things like keepin his hanky n socks n shoes...but still she is accused of being uncaring..I hav read some posts saying even maids do tht...is there no diff between chores done by a maid and a wife ???
The worst part is these things are being said by my fellow woman for another woman...unless we dont start repecting other woman how can we expect men to do tht ??

Excellent post Mallika .😃...even i was about to malke a long post on this very same topic..😛...i mean why such double standards...😡😡...u said it right nniks...😃😃...i mean had Shiv been married earlier and his wife had turned out to be bad or dead,.....and he got married again while he was still stuck in his past bitter memories😕 and did not accept Aanandi as his wife in physical terms......iam sure all the women on this forum and in the Singh and Shekhar household would have lectured Aanandi on what her duty is ...how she should win him over ..😡...how she should keep patience and keep trying to woo him.😕...and all would have said/......Awww,...poor Shiv he still loves his first wife.😕😕...or poor Shiv he is still bitter from his bad past .😡😡...he should take his time..😡😡...but since Aanandi is doing it.😕...she is termed uncaring, shceming...a maid..😡😡😡...taking advantage of Shiv's goodness.😡😡...GIve me a break...wat hypocrisy.😡😡...why women are always expected to mould into every situation and accept situation readily...why cant she take her time...😡😡😡...we say we are modern but our mindsets are still stuck in 1940's or 50's u know those crap teachings saying" a woman is like water ...she takes the shape in whicever container u put her in😡😡😡...urggg...iam glad that she is slowly realising her lov for Shiv😳😳...and i just Love Shiv for bieng so considerate, sweet and understanding.😳😳😳...he has done wat any reasonable and good human bieng should have done..😳😳😳...he is a mature man...😳😳😳...not a kid like Jagiya who was dying to just slep with Aanadi.😳😳...Shiv's eyes, his caress speaks so much about his love, respect and understanding that he has for Aanandi...😳😳😳..God bless him.😳😳...he is wat i would call Prince Charming...😳...my ideal man.😳..u know my didi's marriage was also an arranged marriage and she had met her husband just thrice before that 😳and had psoken to him about a three to four times before marriage😳 and wen she got married to my Jijaji they consummated thier marriage after 3 months .😳👏...and the best part of it was that my Jijaji accepted and understood weat my didi said on the wedding night...😳😳..she told me that she asked him that she needs time to adjust in this relationship, she wants to understand him 😳😳, be friends with him first and thyen get intimate and my Jijaji accepted and understood...😳..i so respect him for this..😳😳...Anandi in yesterdays episode whr she got scared by seeing the shooting sequence of a film....that her Shiv might have been in the same danger😕😕...she screamed Collecter saab...😕😕.coz she was already so worried fort him and so that scene scared her.....she behaved like any other wife who loved her husband would😳😳...she called Jagiya to know wether Shiv is safe or not...😳...its a proof that she is already falling for him...😳..just a few more days and she will be head over heels...😳...and then she will realise the difference between real and pure love, its bliss and ectasy 😳😳😳and a relation that was she was made to believe is everythjing for her from her childhood which she fancied as love...

Coming to Anandi and Shiv...

Some people just bash her mindlessly, totally forgetting what she has hitherto been through in her life...how she has suffered. And to all those who compare her to others and say that her experience has been AS BAD as that persons then lemme just say that it doesn't matter...her experience was horrible and she was the one who had to live through it...she felt it, suffered through, endured and most important she survived it...but she experienced it none the less and though the memory my fade with time, it will always be a part of who she is. There's a saying that we shouldn't criticize others without walking a day in their shoes! I doubt many of us can last that long in Anandi's shoes! 😆

The woman just needs TIME!! She will fall in love with her husband, that's inevitable because of the 'awesome' for lack of a better word right now, man he is! Actually she is already on the path there and with time she'll come to love him just as he loves her. So what if he has to wait for her? Is that so bad? Is not waiting for the one you love an act of love? He loves her enough to wait for her!!

What saddens and agers me is this stupid mindset that the woman always has to be the one to adjust for a man! 🤢
