Badi Haveli
Basant is talking on the phone Jagya (J) where J is sorry since Gehena's medical tests could not be done. Basant tells J that he understands the situation due to Ganga's condition. Basant inquires about Ganga's health. J replies that she is not perfectly fine but is out of danger now. Basant tells J that he is assured about Ganga recovering since a good doc like J is taking care of her. J tells Basant to visit the hospital with Gehena the next day. Basant agrees when Dadi Sa (DS) startles him by calling out to him. DS asks him if he was talking to J. DS talks to J and asks him when he is returning home. J tells her that he will be staying back in the hospital to take care of Ganga. DS then tells him that she will accompany Basant and Gehena the next day to the hospital so that she can meet Ganga.
Shiv's house
Shiv (S) comes into the bedroom where he sees Anandi (A) asleep on the bed. She is sleeping diagonally on the bed due t which there is little place for S to sleep. Due to this he sleeps on the couch.
Next day morning, Choti Ma (CM) comes to A's room to give them their ironed clothes. A is in the bathroom. CM keeps the clothes on the bed when she realizes that the couple has slept separately. She remembers the incident when Sachi was asking A about S's scar on his foot and how A had no clue about it. CM gets worried and wonders if the couple don't sleep together.
CM then takes tea for S and is thinking to herself as to how she should address this issue to S. She starts small talking with S and then inquiring about Ganga and if the whereabouts of the ward boy was known. S replies that the search is on. She then comes to the point and asks him how A's rash was. S looks surprised but replies that it has subsided. A then walks in when CM tells her that she will give A a good cream. A looks surprised and asks CM for what the cream was. S interrupts and tells A that CM was talking about the rash on her back. He indicates to her to manage the situation. A replies that the rash has gone now since S applied a good cream for her. CM asks them which cream was used when both replied with different names. CM looks happy since she caught their lies. S changes the topic by telling A that he needs to go early to work and he will drop her at the hospital. He asks her to get ready quickly and they leave the scene. CM tells her self that her doubt about something not being right between the two of them was true.
Hospital
DS, Bhairav, Basant and Gehena come to the hospital and meet J who is sitting besides Ganga. DS tells Basant and Gehena to go for the tests. J says that he will also accompany them. But DS forces him to stay back to have breakfast. Basant and Gehena leave saying that they will meet Lal Singh.
Outdoors
S and A are driving towards the hospital when S tells A that CM should be an advocate since she smartly caught them lying. He jokingly tells A that they should make codes so that they can save themselves in such situations. A is looking very sad this whole time. A tells S not to take these things as a joke. She says that she is not able to understand why she is being unfair to everyone sply. S. She is sad that she is lying to the family and also making S lie. S tells her that they are lying only so that the family doesn't get worried and hence its ok. She doesn't looks satisfied with the answer. They reach the hospital. A tells S that she lied not only to avoid the family worrying about them but also because the truth will shock them. Saying this she left a worried S.
In the hospital Lal Singh tells Gehna and Basant that after a few days once the test reports are in they will be able to say if Gehena will be healthy enough to have a baby. He tells them that they will need to take good care of themselves. Basant then asks Lal Singh if there is any danger to Gehena's life in all this procedure? Lal Singh says that there is no danger of this sort and tells them to not mention anything to anyone and also not to loose hope.
In the next scene J, DS and Bhairav are sitting in a room where Bhairav expresses how strong Ganga is to be able to bear all the problems she has faced so far. J tells them that seeing Ganga's state he remembers his own past. He says that he gets so angry with Ratan to put Ganga in such a situation that he fells like beating him up. But then he remembers his own deeds and realizes that he has no right to ridicule Ratan since he has not been any different. Ratan hurt Ganga physically while J hurt A mentally. He says that he starts hating himself when he thinks about all these things. A who is standing outside the room is hearing all this. J continues saying that Ganga has shown him a mirror which makes him fall in his own eyes. He says that he has taken advantage of A's goodness and inspite of her being in his life, he married another girl and brought her into the house. This might have caused so much pain to A. He says that Ratan took Ganga's kid away from her but J took the right of a wife and a mother from A which leave no difference between him and Ratan. DS tells J not to only blame himself since she being an elder is equally responsible. She sided him in all his wrong deeds and could not show him the right path. Bhairav tells DS not to blame herself since it is only because of her that A is happy in a new life and a new family. J says that he could not do anything for A but he wants to help Ganga which will probably be a way to repent for his misdeeds. Bhairav tells J that they will do whatever they can for Ganga once she recovers.
DS asks J how long Ganga will have to stay in the hospital. J tells her that the poison is out of her body but some time will be needed for her wounds to heal after which she can be taken care of at home. He says that they will discharge her but where will she go thereafter? He is worried if the ward boy might try to kill her again or upon gaining consciousness she would want to run to her kid. He is worried where to keep her. A then enters and says that she will take Ganga to her house. But DS tells her that it will not be a good idea since she is newly wed and also since her in-laws are staying with her. Bhairav agrees to DS and tells A that before taking any decision she will have to consider her family's will too. He also says that since S is trying to give her lawful justice it will not be appropriate for her to live with them. DS then says that Ganga will stay with them in the Badi haveli. J thankfully appreciates DS suggestion.
Voice over: The conscience of a person keeps pricking him for the injustice he has done to someone until a point he does something noble for someone else. Only 'parity' can wash away the ill of the mind and make it pure.
Precap: S tells Ganga that he will legally get her kid back to her. J and Ganga both say that they want to accompany S. S, J and G arrive outside Ratan's house with police. Ratan's old helper is standing with the kid at Ratan's door. Seeing this Ganga runs towards the baby. Ratan closes the door while Ganag pleads to give her baby back to her.
