Why does Asad love his step-siblings so much?

This is a genuine question. I understand that step/half brothers and sisters can love each other very much. But this is a special case of two mothers. One family and the resulting children took away Asad's childhood, unintentionally. These kids also want Shirin, their mom, with Rashid only. They care not for Dilshad and Ayaan was even stupid enough to ask for his parent's relationship advice from Asad. In Asad's view his father is a lying cheat along with Shirin. These selfish children, this is all good for them. They can still respect Asad because he's this successful older step sibling and they feel "cool" to be associated with him. Ayan is always copying him to be him and failing miserably. But WHY does Asad love them so much? Isn't this the family that took away any chance of happiness from his mom and him and his sister?

Family relationships are complicated yes, but this weird dedication of Asad's toward his step siblings have no strong basis. If they are still waiting to establish it, they better reveal it soon or else the CVs will once again be left with a story where the past is left unexplored. I have said this before in IPK and I will say it again CVs, don't wait to juice it so long that the orange dries up. IPK dried up and died because you were still waiting to juice it.

trust me, ive been wondering the same thing all along...
'maine ayaan ko ungli pakad ke chalna sikhaya hai'
WHEN did he do this??? their families were staying separately... the elders of rashid's secong home, have no respect fr asad's family... then how and why did they let the siblings meet and grow close to each other??? it doesn't make sense...

Exactly! What the hell? Is Asad the father? Weird dialogues and no logical basis. Asad is 28-30 and he taught a sibling 8 years younger to walk? How? I have been around cousins who were 8 years older and they did not teach me to walk lol. They could barely take care of themselves.

What I gather is that at some point they all lived together. As in, Asad's father lived with two wives. 🤔

I guess the attachment comes from there.

Yes I agree with you totally...very contradictory emotions are being shown without any explanations! I have been saying right from the beginning we need some flashbacks to explain this...so incomplete the story is without them!

Maybe when Dilshad did not know they were his family which is why it would make less sense that Asad would have known them as siblings then.

I don't know why Dilshad is so kind about it.

I don't know why Dilshad is so kind about it all. I am Muslim too and I would have fried Rashid in a public square if he pulled that on me.

What if they didn't live together but Dilshad had sent her children to spend time with Rashid. I mean divorced parents do that all the time don't they?

Then maybe later out of spite or some sort of feud all ties were broken?

Gul Khan's best work they said😆

Very true. They have all the ingredients of very good drama. I really hope that they dont drag the suspense too long for us to lose interest. For now, I am okay with Asad's reactions because i don't know what happened but if what they reveal, when they reveal doesn't hold water ill lose interest very rapidly. It will be easier to hook the audience if they can empathize with the characters and for that the situations need to be believable and logical.
