I'm loving the show till now. No complaints. Only drama on tv land i can somewhat watch but sorry to say I'm not a fan of wait and watch sort of comments. According to me they are not a good omen.

i am questioning the same thing..
Asad's possessive nature and extreme love for Ayaan and nikhat..does not have proper base...
I have no hopes...GUL and PH will no clarify this..

There r lots of things make no sense..
They said rashid did not see dilshad for 17 yrs..
Then how come everyone from both sides know each other???

We have to wait for the story to unfold... we still do not know what had actually happened...why Rashid left Dilshad and kids? why did he marry Shireen, when it is evident that he does not love her?

I believe when this old story will come in the open, then rest too will be know...

As for Rashid not seen Dilshad for 17 yrs clearly indicated that he was seeing Dilshad and kids...while Ayan and co were also there...b'coz eveidently Ayan is not 16yrs old...so that means he has to be a few yrs old when they all saperated ways!!!

Let's wait and see...

I feel the same. I just cannot relate to Asad's love for his Ayaan and sisters. If anything, he should have a grudge against them for having the support of their father while he was left to grow up before his time and shoulder responsibilities.

Even if they bonded as children, this depth of love simply makes no sense to me given that they've spent their formative years away from each other. The way they show it, I sometimes wonder if he cares more for Ayaan (who clearly is not sensitive to Asad's and Dilshaad's pain) than Najma.

Good question.

what i can gather from various snippets of conversations that happened so far, this is what happened with them in the past.

Shirin once told Raziya that she did not have to impress Rashid and he just fell for her when he saw her. This was something i could not understand given the fact that Rashid and Dilshad were shown to be so much in love in some flash backs shown in earlier episodes plus the fact that Rashid still claims to love Dilshad so much and is not being able to forget her. so my assumption is that Rashid met Shirin and had some temporary attraction towards her(despite loving Dilshad) and things led to a situation which forced him to marry her. so i think, initially he was married to both Dilshad and shirin at the same time. But later MaamuJaan must have forced him to leave Dilshad and her two children by offering him partnership in his business(Rashid might have been working under him at that time). The reason for this could be that Shirin felt insecure because of Rashids love and partiality towards Dilshad. From various conversations that we heard till now, it looks like Rashid's mother also played a part in pushing Rashid into leaving Dilshad and accepting the financial gains offered by Maamu.. this is what i can guess from what we saw so far.

In another conversation, Shirin had very clearly said that Ayaan is 22 years and that means 17 years back till Ayaan was 5 years old, Asad and Ayaan and perhaps Nikhat had contact with each other. may be they lived together or even if separately, the children must have been meeting often.. And Asad must have been very attached to Ayaan till they got completely separated. And when that unguli pakalh ke chalna sikaya happened,Asad must have been at least 8 - 10 years old and much older when everything else happened later and they got separated ... old enough to understand many things.. so he would have known that Ayaan was innocent and not at fault regarding what happened to their family.so he must have continued to love Ayaan and Nikhat as well.

i too hope that when they unfold the past they do it in a believable way and show the emotions of each and every person involved so that we can relate to the story and to each persons feelings.😃

I agree.
Ayan Is not 16... He is around 21-24

Seems like finished college.

So ... He spent 5-8 years with asad

Najma on the other hand is not close to any ofthe siblings ...same goes to Nikhat and her younger sis...they kinda stay away...

It's only asad and Ayan

So most likely dilshad and she teen were living as co wives at one point. May be not in the same house. Rarely do co wives stay in the same house..

Perhaps rashid did not tell dilshad about marrying shereen and shereen might have known but rashid probably told her to be quiet.

On the other hand.. Manu must have interfered and given rashid the ultimatum.

He also shares some history with dilshad. The way he was threatening her ...seems like he must have warned her before too..to let go of rashid.

This is a genuine question. I understand that step brothers and sisters can love each other very much. But this is a special case of two mothers. One family and the resulting children took away Asad's childhood, unintentionally. These kids also want Shirin, their mom, with Rashid only. They care not for Dilshad and Ayaan was even stupid enough to ask for his parent's relationship advice from Asad. In Asad's view his father is a lying cheat along with Shirin. These selfish children, this is all good for them. They can still respect Asad because he's this successful older step sibling and they feel "cool" to be associated with him. Ayan is always copying him to be him and failing miserably. But WHY does Asad love them so much? Isn't think the family that took away any chance of happiness from his mom and him and his sister?

Family relationships are complicated yes, but this weird dedication of Asad's toward his step siblings have no strong basis. If they are still waiting to establish it, they better reveal it soon or else the CVs will once again be left with a story where the past is left unexplored. I have said this before in IPK and I will say it again CVs, don't wait to juice it so long that the orange dries up.

Mary.

Firstly they aren't step-siblings they are half-brothers and sisters. They do (unfortunately) share Rashid as a father. I personally like the fact that Asad doesn't extend his bitterness towards his father to his brothers and sisters. The children were/are not responsible for the selfish decision their father made. Should he hate Shireen?- Sure why not...after all she did pursue a married man. Nikhat, Nuzat and Ayaan are immature but they too are a victims of their circumstances. I do really hope they grow up at some point. They can't keep expecting their parents or brother to get them out of tough situations but hopefully that is something that will be dealt with by the writers at some point.

(No insult intended...just my opinion 😊)

I do agree with your point that the past needs to explored now when it's relevant and not a year from now. It is important so as to keep the story moving forward and of course for them to develop a leading story from there. The Rashid-DIlshaad-Shireen story needs to be told and what Mammu and Razia's part was in it.

I'm confused of what you're trying to say.

It was generic comment with no references what so ever. 😊
