I agree but I am also thinking that purvi's child maybe arjun's

100% confirm purvi's child is arjun's when they perform puja at kolkata mandap after 6 moths leap but not see each other also not know they are same line in front of Puja mandap Arjun closed his eye & Purvi play not know which tune then very first time clear to saw & camera focus Purvi's pregnancy that are indicate no other than only Arjun is father of Purvi's baby.

It is very interesting that not ONE of the responses to my post has addressed my basic question at all, but are instead speculating about side issues or even rejoicing in the assumption that Purvi's baby is an illegitimate one. It is also strange that no one is apparently in a position to answer my simple question,

Hello SHyamala dear
Hope you are feeling better from your cold and being under the weather..
Let me be the one to answer your Q 😃 Yes baby's father if that is Onir have all the say in the matter about the kid...But in PRland where Female leads rock and control-manipulate weak men they dont give much right to them..Its a whole different ball game..
In real life Women like Archanas and the Purvis should not be married or let alone have children...They are shown not to have a clue in what it is to be a wife, or mother..
Onir should divorce Purvi and file for sole custody of their child If this child is his...But we all know there is a chance that kid is Arjun's...Arjun should have nothing to do with PUrvi and sue Purvi for also sole custody of their child...Women like these have to be taught a tough lesson by strong, confident and assertive men that they cant be manipulated, taken for a ride or taken for granted for their niceness..
Neither Archana or Purvi have a single clue in being wife or a mother...
I cant say this enough...They both needs to be dumped by their respective husbands..
BTW recently reformed-born again sudhri huvi Savita needs to go back to being herself IMHO..
Happy Holidays and a wonderful 2013..Take care and feel better 😃

Varsha my dear,

Thank you for this characteristically vigorous and clear answer to my question. The question itself was of course more satirical than literal! I also note that no one else has attempted an answer.

You might have seen some of my other posts on assorted threads lamenting the likelihood that Onir might end up trumping even Arjun in the bakra-cum-pajama stakes. Yesterday's episode, which showed him cutting Purvi off after 5 seconds after forcing her to take the call, was somewhat reassuring, but I am not getting my hopes up too soon!

The way in which she was bluffing to the Ds about Onir coming there in a few days showed how confident she was that her emotional blackmailing stunt would work. I now want more than anything else for Onir to stay put in Kolkatta and force her to keep calling him to beg him to come to Mumbai and getting cut off, in a taste of her own medicine. She can then stand in the chawl corridor and dream of the days when she was making him gajar halwa.

But I have my doubts as to whether my wishful thinking will ever come true. However, I am now almost sure that the baby is Onir's which is a bit of a relief. I hated the idea of Purvi's character being so demeaned.

As for me, on top of everything else, I also now have an attack of conjunctivitis! I do hope that at least the New Year is better for me!! Thanks a million for all your concern. I send you both, and the rest of the family, my warmest good wishes for 2013 to bring you all the best of health - the most important of all - peace of mind, and fulfillment.

Affectionately,

Shyamala

Shymala dearest,

Me too hope Purvi is left waiting for Onir (alas, will never happen in Ekta mata's serials) and she keep watching more of Arjun/ovi scenes and if she has really moved on (as claimed), missed Onir more and more, and at last, is forced to go back to Kolkata, after a lot more lies at her maikka….that is what the ego of a man could do, in reality….Purvi just left a comfortable home, a loving caring world renowned OBGYN hubby and her Man Friday, to walk right into Deshmukh's house…I mean even pre-marriage, how many days did she really lived in that house to call it her own. Besides, doesn't she know, what her presence means to Ovi, not to mention, the fact where will she sleep in that already over-crowded 2 bedroom house??

And it is amazing, how Ovi is forced into treatment by Onir and Onir is forced to treat her. Even cancer patients have a right to refuse treatment, but not in our PRLand, where only and only one doc can treat a structural defect of the womb….amazing storyline….

Yeah I too am very happy that Onir at this stage does not seems to have wimped out. It would be good to see Purvi being stood up to.
What is it with the Halwa> First she made Lawki ka halwa for Arjun, now it's gajar ka halwa.
