It would be a complete debacle if Ovi were to lose her baby. Part of it would be because Ovi's treatment will be done by Dr. Onir (when Purvi finally convinces him) and then, she will blame it all on Onir and Purvi. She will also make Arjun's life all the more miserable. Archana will cry a bit more. Maybe for a change, Savita will also start blaming Purvi and Onir. Punni could possibly come into the scene here and poison Ovi's mind against Purvi once again. And the weeping, constant fighting etc. would continue on for about ten more episodes.

As far as the issue of Purvi giving her baby to Ovi is concerned, she might have done that herself were it not for Onir. I personally don't think that Onir would let her do that.

I don't know about you guys. But, as a long time PR viewer, I want both the couples to JUST MOVE ON. Because even though people stick to their past memories, they eventually do get past those experiences in life. I want Arjun to be happy with Ovi and Purvi to be happy with Onir. Arjun and Ovi could make a sweet couple if we get the old Ovi back--the one who used to care about Arjun's every little pleasure. And, we've seen Purvi and Onir happy together.

DejaVu Like Mother Archana like daughter Purvi
Purvi is not doing anything for Ovi...She is doing all this for herself..What bonding-understanding is she questioning to Onir? Man has been caring-loving for the past 6 months..She lied to him abt her mother and family. She has hiden who she was in love with prior to her marriage which she really does not owe any explanation but but she does need to tell Onir why she left Mumbai to come to kolkata..She did not leave mumbai for Ovi..
She left because Arjun was in love with her and they were to be married..She dumped him on 11th hour and put a condition to marry Ovi..Than she put another one to Arjun to sleep with Ovi..While knowing the fact that Purvi herself had been intimate with Arjun and was prego..She left mumbai to hide her face nothing more..
Now she has a great itch to be with Arjun...Ovi is just an excuse dear..Together ArVi will either kill Ovi or Ovi's baby...They have destroyed Ovi mentally and emotionally by cheating in the name of Mahanta..A destroyer behind the facade of "The savior" 😡
My POV ofcourse..

A superb take on a lousy tale.👏 The last para sums up my (very likely forlorn) hopes. Not for PR, but for us, the unlucky viewers.

Shymala dear, your high hopes from Archana the teacher of Sanskars, who stood against MAnav without giving him the benefit of doubt in of course, the chawl case...a daughter who sees her mother treats the institution of marriage and hubby dear in this manner does so in her life too - well, what goes around come around in a full circle…..how can the apple fall far from the tree?

That is the difference between your beti and your beti jaisi, which is what Purvi is to Manav in reality, all his high flowing statements notwithstanding. When there is a clash, the former will always prevail.

In the same context, what would you say about Purvi as a wife, seeing that she is all the time thinking of her 'sister' Ovi (who hates her guts) and not at all of her husband?

And what would you say about a sanskaari (presumably) pativrata patni, who, when her husband refuses to accede to her demands, ups and leaves him, saying that without 'understanding and bonding' (shorthand for dancing to her tune) their grihasti is pointless and she will now consider her aai's home as her own? It was quite unbelievable. At this rate, no marriage would survive. Did Archana's celebrated sanskaars and parvarish teach Purvi to treat the institution of marriage in such a cavalier fashion?

Once she got married, Purvi's first duty should have been to her husband. Not to her parivaar, which in any case should now be the one she had with Onir, not the Deshmukhs or the Karanjkars. If there is a clash, the husband should come first. If she cannot be loyal to him, she should not have married at all. Nobody forced her to do so, did they?

Not to be mean or anything. I hope Arvi kills Ovi!!! I never knew I could hate the daughter of the lead so much as I hate Ovi.

Shyamala , the way Purvi left Onir , with just a letter saying that she is ending relationship with him as there is no understanding between them ...after all he did for her , I am just shocked like anything .
It looks like Purvi thinks that getting married is just going to a fancy dress party where she gets to wear a new look, the Bengali bride , wear sindoor and bangles and get to experience a different culture ...
Other than this she does not really understands marriage ...
If she respected her marriage with Onir , or respected her husband , she would have never done what she did today ...
She was not even crying in the train or shown to be looking guilty ...
It's true that Manav has spoiled Ovi a lot ...and I think no one means even half as much to Manav as Ovi does ...not even Archana or any other of his kids ..
But now I think even Purvi has been spoiled a lot by Archana ...
Archana keeps Purvi on a very very high padestal all the time ..Purvi is her little wondergirl who can do no wrong ever .

Kalapi my dear,

That part about Archana was pure satire, and not to be taken literally!

As for the chawl case, remember the PhD thesis😉 I did on it once?I think that was the worst thing they showed her doing so far, and I have never forgiven her for it. That was what that drove me off PR for a while then.

Dear Tanyaz,

I could not agree with you more. Purvi yesterday was beyond belief. At this rate, hardly any marriage would survive!

That apart, she lets it be known that her baby is his (and I do hope so, though the jury seems to be still out on that), and yet she has no hesitation in cutting him off, abruptly, from her and the baby - she does not even take his calls. It was quite unbelievable!

She deserves every bit of what is almost surely awaiting her in Mumbai. As soon as Ovi, now cosily installed in the D chawl, catches sight of her bete noire, obviously intending the stay there with her, the decibel levels will shake the roof. The neighbours will come to investigate, and the ditching artist will presumably be despatched to the K chawl, where Manjusha will react appropriately to being saddled with this non-earning bad penny.

All in all, much fun and games await, and the only fly in the ointment is likely to be Onir arriving at the D chawl, full of contrition for having presumed to stand up (even if only briefly) to his Mishti, and eager to reclaim her by now agreeing to treat her pyaari behena. Grrr...

I used to rage at Arjun after that hilltop capitulation, for not having told Purvi exactly where she got off. Now, Onir bids fair to give him a run for his money in the marshmallow (or pajama) stakes! Yesterday they poured a lot of water on him and made him listen to a sad song, and in the precap he was asking a (missing) Mishti for his kurta. I felt like clouting him one good and proper This is what happens to most of the men in PR.

Never mind. Here is wishing you and the rest of the family a healthy, happy and peaceful New Year 2013!

Warmest regards.

Shyamala

I am also wondering why Purvi feels obligated to Ovi and her recovery. She is risking her marriage just to save Ovi. What is wrong with this girl, I think Purvi is the one who is mentally disturbed not Ovi!!!

They're both menatlly disturbed!!!!
