Deepika Padukone (born 5 January 1986) is an Indian actress and model. She appears mostly in Hindi films, as well as Tamil and Kannada language films. Born to badminton player Prakash Padukone, she chose to become an actress.[1]
In 2006, Padukone made her acting debut through the Kannada film Aishwarya.[2] The following year, she made her Hindi film debut in Om Shanti Om, for which she earned the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. Vidya Balan (pronounced [??d?ja? ba?l?n]; born 1 January 1978)[1] is an Indian film actress who appears in Hindi, Bengali, and Malayalam language films. At age sixteen, Balan landed her first acting role, in the sitcom Hum Paanch (1995). After making several unsuccessful attempts to start a career in film, she acted in television commercials and music videos. In 2003 she made her feature film debut with the independent Bengali drama Bhalo Theko.
In 2005 Balan garnered praise for her first Hindi film, Parineeta, and followed it with a leading role in the blockbuster Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006). Katrina Kaif (born Katrina Turquotte;[2] 16 July 1984)[3] is a British Indian actress and former model who appears in Indian films, mainly in the Hindi film industry.[4][5] She has also appeared in Telugu and Malayalam films. Being a British citizen, she works in India on an employment visa.[1]
Kaif made her acting debut in 2003 with Kaizad Gustad's box office bomb Boom. In 2007, she earned commercial success with Vipul Shah's Namastey London and later earned public recognition for playing leading roles in such male-centric films as Partner (2007), Race (2007) and Singh Is Kinng (2008). Priyanka Chopra (pronounced [pr?'j??ka? 't?o?p?a?]; born 18 July 1982)[1][2] is an Indian actress, singer, and songwriter. She was born to parents who were both army physicians. Due to their frequent reassignments, she grew up in many different cities in India, as well as spending a few years in the United States. Before starting her acting career, she gained fame after winning the Miss India and Miss World titles in 2000. Throughout her career, Chopra has received many awards, including a National Film Award for Best Actress and Filmfare Awards in four distinct categories.
Making her acting debut with the 2002 Tamil film Thamizhan, Chopra later made her Bollywood film debut with The Hero in 2003 and followed it with the hit Andaaz. She subsequently earned critical acclaim for her performance in Aitraaz (2004) and appeared in the commercially successful films Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Krrish (2006), and Don (2006). The year 2008 marked the beginning of a new phase in Chopra's career, as her portrayal of a troubled model in the film Fashion earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress and the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.
