Trapped In A Cloud|AR-SS|DISCONTINUED.

As a child growing up her mother would often tell her that whenever you wanted something that all you had to do was look up into the sky and with a pure heart make a wish and if you did that then all your dreams would come true. Today was one of those days where she had come here to find some answers to the numerous questions that irked in her mind. She sat at the edge of the biggest rock she could find looking out at the night sky above her where the twinkling stars that shone above glistened an aura of bright light. Ever since the tender age of 6 she would often come here with her family to spend some quality time and make loving memories that would always be cherished in her heart. She could remember when she would sit with her sister and build sandcastles of different sizes and create a wall were no one was allowed inside. She remembered how her father would sit her in his lap and tell her stories about when he used to come to the very same beach with his father and the memories that he had with him. She remembered how her mother would pack them a lunch full of everyone's favourites and make everyone sit together on the large blue plastic sheet that they would bring. She remembered how her sister would grab her hand and pull her into the bitter cold water and splash her to no end. But as the years went on and she got older things changed. The people around her that she once would spend time with on a daily basis no longer had the time to talk as they had become engrossed in other things. Her sister who she would spend hours at night gossiping with had moved on in her life as she had found a special someone. Her father who would sit with her and play chess no longer had the time as he became engrossed in his work at the hospital. Her mother who would barge into her room at any time and ask her to do her nails was now to busy looking after the orphaned children at the local orphanage. She herself was a busy person who had started her carrier in medicine as a soon to be doctor following in her father's footsteps at the local hospital where she used to go as a child. But despite everything that had changed the one thing that stayed constant was coming here to the beach. Whenever she was able to spare some free time she would come here sit on a rock and just spend some time with herself. She found peace whenever she came here when her mind was jumbled up. She found that whenever she had a problem and needed an answer she would find it here. It was as if she had become friends with the waves, stars and sand that surrounded her. She had come here after a while after being away on holiday hoping that she would be able to clear her mind and rid herself of the tension her heart was going through since the past few days. It wasn't as if she hadn't tried to express herself and explain what was wrong it was that no one had the time to listen and so she had come here and sat down and began to delve into her thoughts in the hopes that she would find an answer like the numerous times before. Then why hadn't she found her answers yet? What was she doing differently? She had done what her mother had told her all her life and looked up into the sky and made a wish with a pure heart but nothing had happened. Did it mean that her heart wasn't pure? Did it mean that whatever her mother had told her was a lie, that you never got what you wanted no matter how hard you wished? Did it mean that dreams were never meant to come true? Did it mean that she had no right to desire anything? Did it mean that she would never get what she wanted? Did it mean that she would have to do what others wanted and never listen to her own heart? Did it mean that she was never going to be able to fall in love with the person who she wanted? Did it mean that she would always have to live by the rules that her parent's had set for her? Did it mean that she had spent 24 years of her life believing in a load of crap? Did it mean that what she had wished for was never going to come true? Did it mean that she was never going to get her answers? Did it mean that she was going to be trapped in a cloud were she would be alone forever? Her mind began to cloud up as if a rain storm was about to start inside her body. She had never been this confused in her life about anything. She wanted answers and she wanted them now but who was going to give them to her? Her family who didn't have the time for her? Her friends who were just like her starting a new chapter in there lives? Then who? She looked up into the sky one last time hoping for an answer but when it didn't come she with as much energy as she had left whispered in a barely audible voice "If you're up there' please help me".
