Yeah we don't want fights here, for sure.

I mean, If people can watch shows where the religion is Hinduism without moaning, why can't people watch a show depicting Islam without moaning?

And as far as teh CVs are concerned, I am sure they'll do a good job, because they are Muslims themselves.

When they made Sajda Tere Pyar Mein (Star Plus), the lead girl and Her family were shown as Muslims. I don't think it was shown that well because theres lots of stereotypes about us like we wear hijabs all the time when actually, nowadays, most girls don't. That doesn't mean they are not religious, you don't need to show your religious. Only The Almighty needs to know what a person is like.

Every religion has rules and regulations, Hinduism does, Islam does, Sikhism does and so does Christianity and many more (just mentioning the main ones.) I hope we all get along well no matter what religion we are, and no one ever questions any religion. <3

I agree that everything is not about religion. And I think this statement goes the other way as well...ie if something specific about Asad or any other characters is criticized, it need not mean that the religion is being criticized...

i totally agree with you...the show is based on people facing different phases of life nd not about the religion they follow nd everything they show related to islam cn be unknown to the people who dnt follow islam...so,there is no need to make issues based on the religion nd to hurt the feelings of other people who follow it...

I agree. The point is not taking anything personally. Not getting offended if we criticize the actions of a certain character.

ISlam is a most misunderstood religion ,cant agree more with u!

hope members here will keep the difference of real values nd values shown in a fiction ,in their mind! Religion is very very sensitive issue ..little harm to any one's religious feelings can create never ending problems!..nd no one got right to harm any one's religion its ISLAM says... hope pple are sensible enough here! thanks!

i agree .everytime i come on this forum all i read is every action being related to religion. i dont see being need for it. someone had also made a post asking abt how many muslims were watching the show which i not only found offensive but also wierd. so i can watch this show or comment onit only if iam a muslim?personally i am watching this show for ksg and becoz i found it different.i feel that anybody watching entertainment shows for their dose of religion is funny.i do not watch a show bcoz of hindu or muslim rituals being shown. i dont mean to offend anyone but pls lets at least not divide tv shows on the basis of religion.

main purpose of the show is also to clear the misconception abt Islam so this not only source of entertainment but media of social message and their purpose will be fulfilled if instead of bashing any actor/religion/culture we clear doubts abt Islam
