Hey guys,

There will be tons of times when Islam will be questioned. If so please raise your opinions in a respectable tone and manner. The people who don't follow Islam might have doubts and the one's that can answer, please make it a point to not pounce on the member, just make your argument understandable.

This surely looks like a preachy post but since the background of this show is Islam, people will have prejudices, because Islam is a highly misunderstood religion.

Let's not forget this is fiction and no one means any offence.

So far it's pretty sane out here. Just a word of caution.

P.s- no offense meant to anyone. Let's enjoy the show.

exctlyyy...and as i am watching it... and then coming into this forum...i cant understand why evry step of leeds are taken as into cast thoughts and tradition and values...cant for once they can be termed in as a simple human being and doing it liek any nromal humans out there... highlyy dissapointed to see evry step converted into a cast thoughts...highlyy sad

I know. The last thing we need here is a religious war. Religion is a sensitive topic and i think 4lions has a huge responsibility on it's shoulders to portray Islam in it's true spirit.

Some of the things shown in the show are strictly individualistic to the characters and has nothing to do with their religion.

It's prejudice. People really are not aware of Islam, in true sense.

Let's not forget, no matter what religion it's India. Even a Hindu brother would react the way Asad did.

exctlyyy...this is what i am trying to say...be it north of universe..or south or east or west.evry bro will react the same way...its nothing like asad did soem thign new or liek religious path thing... this is what i am trying to say ke a individual thoughts and thinking is working ... why evry episode or whateva leeds are doing is being analysied as into a cast thought..into islamic thoughts... it has already started a war... evry part of epi cant be dscrmenated into one individual cast..it can be universal thought too what asad did as bro evry bro woudl do,..then where is the cast here swetuuu..thats hwta i am trying to say..stop anlysing every move of acotr or actress into cast belives and thoughts and tradition..take it as a serial and enjoyyy...cant we simply do that 😲

Exactly. Picking Islam as a background is a huge responsibility indeed. Every action will directly be linked to the religion. Oh he said that, Islam might not be permitting it. He did that it's against Islam.

Its a characteristic trait. He has his own belief and a person chooses to act differently in different surroundings. Islam certainly doesn't force people to anything. It's a highly misjudged religion. Let's not get that here in a fiction show.

I am sure we are mature enough to discuss it like adults, hope that not too much to ask.

People are judgemental, it happens. You can either brush it off or try and make them understand. I read a couple of posts and people are calling Asad a hypocrite. It's not hypocrisy at all. He merely did what a brother would do. Hell, my brother has imposed all sorts of restrictions on me. Not because we are Muslims but because he finds a need a protect me. Thats what brothers do.

i didnt see this but here is my take

highly DISAPPOINTED with this forum.
just because qubool hai setting
is islam, we see so many HYPOCRITICAL MEMBERS
who basically saying.. "JUST because this show's background is islam that's why everything linked

A very much needed post in the forum indeed! Thanks for this :) It is getting quite irritating now how ppl are being so picky about such trivial things in each episode! And calling Asad a hypocrite based on a single thing he said to his sister, is crazy! People really need to stop being so judgemental :)
