Madhur took 8 MONTHS to shoot HEROINE?!

😕 Okay, this question still remains unanswered. When Aish had the film, it was only 45 days. Then, in a recent Bollywood Hungama interview, Madhur proclaimed it being 8 months of shooting. And he said "it only took that long." 8 months is a freaking long time. I wonder how Bebo managed to do it. So, in reality Madhur never really wanted Aish in the film. He was just waiting for the right moment when Bebo would come back. Madhur was clearly deceptive. So was Aish to some extent. Why change the movie shooting and length so drastically? Please share your thoughts. 😲

dont trust MB and neither take his quotes seriously he thinks he is India's woody allen . i have never come across an egoistic self appraising person as Madhur he even puts kareena's narcissism to shame 😆

From what Ive read a big budget movie involving a big star takes around 100 days to shoot. For the record Ash herself said so in an old interview of hers. But they dont shoot continuously for 100 days. Like the YC romance started shooting in Jan 2012 and they are yet to complete the shoot. In between they took breaks for several months with SRK busy with IPL and katrina busy with ETT shoots. Similarly Kareena also took breaks to promote her movies like AV in between Heroine shoots and other committments apart from her holidays.
But some directors like RGV, Bhatts shoot within 30-45 days. Their movies are mostly low budget movies involving smaller stars who can continuously devote time to the movie. So Ash expecting Heroine shoot to complete in 45 days was theoritically possible but practically impossible given all the factors involved in the film. Also we can see how heavily Kareena is promoting the movie. Would Ash as a expectant/new mother have been able to devote so much time to promitions? I think Madhur seriously did want Ash in the film otherwise he wouldnt have wasted money on starting the filming with her. Ash too badly wanted to do the film as she wanted her National Award. Thats why she kept quiet about her pregnancy till the point she thought Madhur would have no choice but to go with her. The Bachchans didnt expect Madhur to be such a huge drama queen. That was against the grand plan.

I think 45 days was too short a time. I dont think its possible to complete the entire movie in such a short time.

I think with aish he never had the intention to make it that fancy which it is now.I am sure there would have been no halkat jawani and all those things with aish.As far as bebo is concerned, I think may be because they took breaks in between thats why the movie took so much time to be completed

Now whether he never wanted aish or not is something which remains a mystery. I am sure now he knows what ever happened, happened for the best. Aish might have never pulled it like bebo. I cant imagine her saying that "randi ke 4 yaar" dialogue the way bebo has said. I think aish was just too sophisticated for a role like this. I saw how uncomfortable she was playing sonehri in dhoom, this, being a married woman, she might have never been able to do fully and i guess madhur also felt it when he signed her up.

Perhaps it took 8 months because kareena had other commitments along the lines? Whereas Ash didnt really have any other movie and was able to give 45 days at a stretch? And then, like others said, Madhur probably decided to make it on a bigger scale after the controversy.

It is strange indeed he told Aishwarya a different story about the length and shooting. 😆 He changed the script for sure after he dumped AIshwarya. Would Aishwarya ever do a crap song Halkat Jawaani, but then again pretty sure AIsh would have done it better in dancing. Maybe you are right, I don't think Madhur wanted Aish but was force by UTV to do it. And the make changes to the script and he did it. And then off coure what happen next is know. Ohh well this is how the film industry work
