From what i understand, the womb has to be ready to accept a fetus - the placenta the placental cord that nourishes the baby. I mean it is not biologically possible for you to just transfer a baby - it is not a self-contained container. The baby is linked to the mother's blood.
A surrogate pregnancy occurs when you fertilise the egg of the mother and father outside the womb, ie., test-tube, and then transfer the fertiliised egg into the surrogate mother's womb and then everyone prays that the fetus will attach itself to the mother's womb!!
Is there a doctor out there to clarify this point?!!!!

I was about right this when discussion in the forum going on this topic prior to the official episode was aired .
