I got inspired yet again; hence, this. It is my first SS/FF for Maaneet . And its inspired by Julia Quinn's Just Like Heaven. A lot of the scenes will be inspired from the book. I hope that's okay...

Prologue

Maan Singh Khurana was alone. This was not an unusual thing for him. From as long as he could remember he had been alone in the world. His mother died when he was 9, but his mother wasn't around from even before due to her prolonged battle with cancer. Yuvraaj Singh Khurana fathered his son as he himself was fathered. Loved but not shown. Yuvraaj Singh Khurana spent most of time traveling and expanding his business, which led Maan to mostly being alone, and in the boarding school. There he made his first and true friend, Armaan Malik. After that most of the time away from school was spent at the Malik Mansion.

Geet Malik was never alone, yet alone in all ways. She was the youngest of 4 and often was excluded from the group. By the time she was 5, her older brother had left for boarding school. He often brought a friend along from school to spend the holidays and breaks. She had often tagged along. Oh! If only she knew how it would turnout… Alas she didn't know…And now here she was on a busy street of Delhi eating gol gappaes as she awaited the rest of her family.

And that is how they found each other after 3 long years…
