the makers of the show have said it a several times that the show is based on the real life incidents and not exactly the same. They have certain limitations while showing the real cases on TV. It is obvious they have changed the names. After all the show isn't a crime reporting show. It is to create awareness and educate the young youth.Originally posted by: mayandrah

first of all, i believe there are certain facts altered in the show...
this scandal was from 2004... I remember the girl's name was Antara... and she was 16 back then... which makes her 24 now... and not 25...
Secondly, I remember very well... both the girl and the boy moved abroad... and not to a small city, as stated in the show
In the show it is said that the girl marries a NRI and settles abroad. The guy well, how much can we trust the media who had earlier reported about where the guy moved? At the end of the day it does'nt matter coz the motive of the show is not that.
