Episode starts with Damini calling Meethi to come and have daal-chawal. Meethi remembers Nani's words.
She asks Damini if her mother loved daal-chawal too? Damini says yes. She asks if I look just like her... Damini says yes you do. Meethi asks her to tell her more about her mom. Asks for a photo. Damini gets nervous and makes excuses for not having any photos/memories for Icha. Says I lost the trunk in which I stored them.
Meethi asks when did mom die? How old was I? Damini says you were one year old. Meethi again remembers Nani's words.
Damini tries to distract Meethi with food and goes away... Meethi says whenever I ask about mom, why does Anni go quiet and not tell me anything? What's the reason?
Mukta in college remembering hugging Aman (Ishq Risk playing in the background). She's smiling to herself, very happy.
Yuvraj sees her and is smitten lol
His friends come and say why did you shake hands with Aman? You ruined our reputation... why have you changed so much?
Yuvi says I want to change myself for someone... completely change myself.
Meethi in her room lost in thoughts. Kanha/Surbhi come into her room. Surbhi says sometimes you brother/sister talk in sign language and make me feel as if you're hiding something from me.
Meethi says why would I hide anything?
Sometimes I feel there's something being hidden from me!
Kanha asks her not to get emotional. We haven't hidden anything from you. He says what should I do to change my sister's mood?
Should I give you some gift?
Surbhi says ask for a new car...
Kanha says she'll ask for jewellery.
Kanha/Surbhi argue over a gift. Kanha says ok, no car, no jewellery I will take her for a Europe tour.
Meethi asks him for a promise to give any gift she wants?
She says whatever questions I ask, answer them truthfully.
Asks him mom's favourite dish... Kanha says Palak Paneer and Meethi remembers Damini's words about Daal Chawal.
Surbhi makes some excuse and leaves the room even though Meethi tries to stop her.
Meethi says when did she die? Kanha says you were one month old.
Again she remembers Damini's words that she was one year old.
She asks for photographs of her mom.
Kanha says why are you asking these questions?
She says I'm her daughter, don't I have rights to ask questions about my mom.
Whenever I ask about her, why do people start behaving weird?
Kanha says, It's not like that - I'm telling the truth.
Meethi says everyone says everything but the truth!
She says don't worry... if you don't know yourself, what would you tell me?
Kanha leaves her room and sees Damini/Surbhi outside.
Says she was asking about Mayya. What should I tell her Ammo-Nani.
Damini says she asked me too. She has a lot of questions in her eyes for Ichha.
I don't know what to do?
Mukta in her room... still smiling/happy :)
Looks at the mirror and remembers the hug and "I Love You" :)
She picks up her clothes to put in the cupboard and sees Meethi's dress missing.
She wonders if the laundry people lost it.
Nani comes in and she says I was coming to you. Says if all laundry clothes came back?
She's nervous asking about the dress.
Nani says you loved that "uttaran" so much that you're getting nervous asking about it?
Nani says yes I returned it and threw it on your friend's face.
Mukta says you went to her house?
Nani says yes, you didn't listen to me when I asked you to return it.
Mukta says I was going to... but I wanted it washed.
Nani again starts blabbering about "Uttaran" (AARGH, I'm sick of it!).
Nani says the stains on "Uttaran" don't go away by washing and if someone likes that Uttaran then it stains their personality too!
Nani leaves, and Mukta wonders Nani went to Meethi's house... what would she have said to Meethi.
Mukta calls Meethi and asks Nani came to your house... I just found out. Meethi says yes she came.
Mukta says what did she say? Did she say anything wrong?
Meethi says what she had to say, she did... don't worry!
Mukta insists on knowing what happened but Meethi doesn't elaborate.
Mukta apologises on behalf of Nani and again insists to be told.
Meethi says if anyone says anything to them about their mother, they will get hurt.
Mukta says I want to meet you right now! Where are you?
(Scene suddenly changes - not sure if something was missing in the video I watched).
Aman calls Meethi and she declines the call. Aman is wondering she never does that.
Mukta comes and apologises that her Nani hurt Meethi's feelings.
Mukta says I don't know what comes over her sometimes?
I wore your dress and she said so much to me on such a small thing. I didn't even understand half the things she said!
Mukta again asks what Nani said,
Meethi doesn't want to say.
Meethi's phone rings again. Mukta sees from behind that it' s from Aman and is surprised to see. Meethi declines the call again.
Mukta asks her what did Nani say.
Meethi tells her, I lost my mom in my childhood. I didn't even see her or know her. If someone says bad things about my mom, I will be hurt.
Mukta says Nani doesn't even know your mom, why would she say things for her? Meethi is quiet.
Mukta says I didn't meet my mom either... but I love her very much and I totally understand that anyone would feel hurt if their mother is criticised in front of them.
Mukta asks her to stop crying, says sorry again and hugs her.
They're both hugging when Nani comes. (Don't know if it's a restaurant or something where they're hugging).
Nani remembres Icha/Tapasya friendship.
She says you couldn't see tears in your friend's eyes? You melted immediately?
Mukta/Meethi look back. Both shocked.
Episode ends.
Preca: Nani is telling Icha/Tapasya story to Meethi/Mukta. Tapasya was a princess who had a big heart. She chose her own servant's daughter as her friend! That servant was Damini and that daughter was Ichha. Meethi/Mukta both shocked!
