Though I don't watch SBS , but I have been led to believe from discussions in this Forum - that Indu has also got their marriage registered ; as there was a mention of some lawyer n of their signing some papers. In that case , I don't think Sanchi has been left with d leeway of LEGALLY calling this marriage - as - ' d forcing of some red powders , n some black-n-gold beads on her by some stranger ' .
And if she is d "intelligent" , "enlightened" n "empowered" "feminist" of d "post-modern" India - that she is often made out to be ; - then society"s "so-called" stigma and 'shirks' should be of lesser concern to her , than getting this fiasco of a marriage , annulled legally !
Because true empowerment for women lie not merely in societal acceptance , but in having absolute sovereignty over their own SELF ... & this is what Indu has snatched away from her through this 'marriage' . I would like to see if d Cvs allow Sanchi to fight for , and regain back That Sovereignty !!!! ... Merely letting her fight d social stigma n trudge along towards her dreams , - would be a lip service to feminism ... indulged in for cheap applauds n easy TRPs ...
But then again it is just a drama ... n after all it is about trps ...😎
