All i have to say in a brief message is that either Sanchi accept it or not, but she is a married woman now and wife of Indu Singh so her washing the sindoor or taking off mangalsutra arent to be taken too seriously as FACT is she is married and she cant change that if she wants to. Plus Indu wont give her divorce at all either.

By hook or by crook, Sanchi is Indu's wife and she cant change that!!

I don't think so. If Sanchi goes to police along with her father and complains that he married her at gunpoint then the marriage will be nullified.

Do you think if someone will kidnap you someday and marries you like this, it will be considered marriage? Will you consider this a marriage? Law is not that weak.

I don't think just complaining would work . Sanchi would need evidence & witness and prompt action , to prove that she was kidnapped n forced at gun-point . Would she be allowed enough intelligence and smartness by d CVs , so that she can establish n prove her case in a court of law ... ??? ... to get this marriage annulled ??? ... Or will she be shown as trudging ahead n struggling to realize her dreams while still remaining married to Indu Singh ??? I think we all know d answer ...

Well...

she might be able to prove herself to the courts that she is still an unmarried girl - one who was forced by a stranger to wear some red powder on her head and a gold/black bead chain on her neck

but she will never be able to shirk off the facts from the society that she is a wedded lady - one who got married to Indu Singh, who applied the sindoor in her forehead and put the mangalsutra around her neck

Though I don't watch SBS , but I have been led to believe from discussions in this Forum - that Indu has also got their marriage registered ; as there was a mention of some lawyer n of their signing some papers. In that case , I don't think Sanchi has been left with d leeway of LEGALLY calling this marriage - as - ' d forcing of some red powders , n some black-n-gold beads on her by some stranger ' .

And if she is d "intelligent" , "enlightened" n "empowered" "feminist" of d "post-modern" India - that she is often made out to be ; - then society"s "so-called" stigma and 'shirks' should be of lesser concern to her , than getting this fiasco of a marriage , annulled legally !

Because true empowerment for women lie not merely in societal acceptance , but in having absolute sovereignty over their own SELF ... & this is what Indu has snatched away from her through this 'marriage' . I would like to see if d Cvs allow Sanchi to fight for , and regain back That Sovereignty !!!! ... Merely letting her fight d social stigma n trudge along towards her dreams , - would be a lip service to feminism ... indulged in for cheap applauds n easy TRPs ...

But then again it is just a drama ... n after all it is about trps ...😎
