You only see what your eyes want to see
How can life be what you want it to be
You're frozen
When your heart's not open

You're so consumed with how much you get
You waste your time with hate and regret
You're broken
When your heart's not open

[Chorus:]

Mmm, if I could melt your heart
Mmm, we'd never be apart
Mmm, give yourself to me
Mmm, you hold the key

Now there's no point in placing the blame
And you should know I suffer the same
If I lose you
My heart will be broken

Love is a bird, she needs to fly
Let all the hurt inside of you die
You're frozen
When your heart's not open

Irritation, exasperation, anger, disgust, contempt , annoyance ...Did you feel all these and much more when u watched todays episode esp Khushi's antics, ready with all knives, loaded Guns drawn and ready to fire ..I Did !! I am sure many of you would have been in the same boat too and I would not blame you either ..But Later I actually felt sorry for this Girl..

Khushi Kumari Guptha !! ..A butterfly who flitted joyfully in the garden of Gods, basking in the sunshine of her parents love and affection, spreading rainbow colors of happiness, warmth everyone, leaving a warm glow in the bosom of everyone she came in touch with..A girl who felt happy that there at least was starry lights to break the pitch black Night , A girl who found her precious jewels in the smile of others , A girl who worked herself to the bone so that her family could fill out .. A girl who could make the deserts bloom, makes the sands fertile, turn a barren stump into a fruit laden tree with her gentleness, compassion and love !!...This was Khushi Kumari Gupta .. A blessed child of Devi Mayya living a carefree, blithe life, a girl who always soared above her troubles, turmoil...A girl whom the fates could not cow down until one fine day !!

The envious Moirae decided to bring Khushi to heel , to ground her , shackle her , tear the wings .. Into her life's thread , they weaved in a dashing Man who came as a savior, who helped her at her difficult times, stood by her ..A dashing man with a black heart , A conniving man with the smile of an anger, fooled by the smile and Sweet murmurs of vaccum , The family linked her future with him...Khushi was destined for the life of betrayal, anguish and treachery when God decided to intervene and save the pure heart , Khushi came to know the true face of the monster but the monster would not stop pursuing her , The God sent her a knight who won her but alas the Knight had already judged her , condemned her without listening to her side of the tale, arrogant confidence in his bearing ...Khushi was broken , devastated , the tender heart crushed by the volte face of the Man from whom she expected tender emotions.. She lay quiescent , timid, docile awaiting for the hope/ optimism to come, waiting for the wounds dealt to her heart to heal..The wounds began to mend making the healed spots hard & Brittle, The scars leaving its mark on her soul..Khushi began to change , adapt and adopt the ways of the ruthless world...The sun which always brightened her world was eclipsed and the stars would not glitter .. Khushi began to seek answers , pounded on the doors of her tormentor for response..Silence met her queries, she was stonewalled ..Only the words Liar/cheat resounding through the walls of her prison continuously ...Khushi began to crack under this relentless onslaught, she grew desperate to escape from this ceaseless clamouring , The despair making her insane ,determned at all costs to escape the prison , she became reckless, ruthless, determined ...Khushi's intention is not to maim Arnav Singh Raizada but to stop herself from being maimed , Khushi fight is the fight for survival of her world before darkness can completely engulf ..Khushi's fight is the fight for her character before the tiny blot on her makeup submerges her entire being .Khushi fight is the fight for establishment of truth, love ,trust ,bond all which have been obfuscated by the wall of hatred, suspicion and deceit ...

When we see Khushi's action in this backdrop then I do feel sorry for this girl who is defenseless and is fighting barehanded, hoping to exploit the chink in her enemy's armour...The enemy who actually is her protector ...

A determined Khushi happily accepts the hint given by Anjali exposing the weakness of Arnav.. towards this end ..She begins to play her game , A game which appears to be succeeding as Arnav is beginning to get angry , is losing the control over his emotions ..Khushi rejoices as she thinks that the gates confining her will soon open and she can once again fly in the azure blue sky, singing the song of freedom but will Moirae relinquish their hold so easily or when the proverbially gates do open will Khushi find it difficult to fly for she may find herself shackled by love, bound by bond, the prison turning her home , anchoring her to the ground ...

On the flip side ...CV's U are treading extremely dangerous waters , You are fine tuning Khushi here,, You have established her as a caring, compassionate girl who is developing a hard outer shell .. I agree you started this 101 irritation track and yes, She must continue to irritate him , goad him push him to the wall..her each actions becoming rash, temerarious ..The actions has to escalate to the point where Khushi learns the lessons of her foolhardiness , learns the limits of pushing the envelope and then you can close this circle ...I can see You are heading towards closing this circle ..But this closure should not come with Khushi feeling guilty but by realizing the enormity of her mistake, by getting that outer shell breaking and releasing the innate compassion in her ..Only then can Khushi be pardoned ... Her every acts is actually making her morally weak in comparison to Arnav Singh Raizada who is putting up with her antics with great fortitude ,patience and admirable restraint ...Revive the Khushi Kumari Gupta who cared for the Rakhshas even when he was at his worst, harshest ...The girl whose will got dented now and then but was not broken, the girl who fought back without wounding others ...

Ms.B ... I have no idea who this girl is , I have not seen her previous work but is she really needed ..She makes Amma look a consummate actor .. If they really needed a child track, I would have preferred watching Nikhil [ the deal master] than this child ..

Mr.A & Ms.B 👎🏼 ..

Today Deepali acted really well, the minute expression on her face, the worry, curiosity, fear , jealousy, insecurity all getting erased as she realizes that the girl her husband is crooning over is just a 9 year old ..

The Kumkum scene ... a direct lift from Judaai movie ..but better than the movie version bec of Barun's husky murmur "Khushi'... A good scene , infact I would say that this to me was the 5%wala scene ...Y'day Arnav Singh Raizada descends from the flight of stairs on his way to the office, He is stopped by his sister , who smilingly applies the tikka on his forehead..Arnav complains half heartedly but accepts it unwillingly ... Today ..Khushi in her bid to rile him further, pretends to apply the tikka from her own forehead on to his forehead ...Arnav is astonished by this possessive familiarity , his pounding heart loosening the love dammed inside, he turns weak but only for a second as reason asserts and he walks away from her , his hands rubbing off the tikka applied by Khushi, rejecting her !!

This scene was a fine juxtaposition of where Anjali and Khushi stand respectively in his lives...Anjali to him is perfection, his world , the person for whom he will destroy the world with him in it but Khushi is an fallen angel who committed a heinous crime ..A girl who is not of Anjali's stature ...While every whims and fancies of Anjali will be entertained , the mildest of Khushi's desires will be ignored , her happiness sacrificed if that ensures that his sister will be happy ...In short Anjali is his world but Khushi is a distant speck of star , little does Arnav realize that the star which appears so small and distant is in actuality a blazing sun , which can illuminate his world, fill it with warmth and has the potential to consume him and one day he may very well turn to this star for warmth, for his living..One day this star will be in the ascendant !!

Khushi is overconfident that she has got a surefire plan leading to her victory which just makes me equally confident that she is bound to fail..

EDITED ;

I have got few PM's asking expressing their discontentment about the lack of continuity and also the character butchering of Khushi ...I have also read few posts which subscribes to the same and have replied to the same ...I am putting forth all those various replies here ..I hope it answers your queries..If not feel free to question

First ... The complaint about continuity ...Monday she was aloof, Tuesday she was all over him , annoying him demeaning herself , her dignity etc etc...Lets take a look again at the picture .."To Know the truth and to get out of the house " ..Khushi was completely engaged in this maneuver when she was outwitted and forced to stay back , All the weapons she had deployed backfired, Arnav did not get irritated enough to throw her out..soon her cache of weapons ran dry and she found herself with no weapon to attack Arnav, she retreated, keeping quiet , lying low.. that she was not defeated and did not give up can be gauged from the fact that she did not give up on her Dabba Service ..She grew quiet cos she had run out of ideas Then on Tuesday, Dame luck was on her side and she sent Anjali who offered a new weapon at Khushi's disposal..Khushi was ecstatic...True to her impulsive nature, She enthusiastically begins to test this weapon on Arnav and to her utter astonishment and delight Arnav begins to react ... Overcome with her success, she goes full throttle on him, unmindful f the consequence, not realizing the fall out...her mission is to get out and this weapon will ensure that...This is her only thought...she has not yet realized the impact this action of hers will have on both the family ...So do we get continuity here .. Yes.. The mission to get out is the continuity and that is what we are seeing ... Has Khushi been compromised...I do not think so.. From the first we have always noticed that Khushi is the type that shoots first and asks questions later.. She suddenly got the idea of becoming a halwai and undertook that business with no foresight, or the proper steps to make it successful .. she had a idea and implemented it without thinking it through... The same thing happened with the Nainital trip when she happily emptied the fuel tank of Arnav's vehicle , which could have landed Arnav in jeopardy and earned his company losses , She was the same when she gate crashed and did her desi Girl song, she was the same when she intruded into a conference to promote Lavanya's virtues ..what has changed now ?? ..Khushi's character remains the same what has changed is Arnav's reaction and that induces us into thinking that Khushi has changed and is falling..

Has the track gone off course ?? Ofcourse not ... The progression is on track ..have we forgotten the Ghee Spoon promo ...Khushi had said that when Ghee cannot be extracted in a straight way, then it has to be pulled out in a devious manner...Isn't that what is happening now ... the truth is being extracted in a devious manner using Arnav's weakness ..The only hitch is in the way it is being narrated..they are complicating a straightforward story telling with unnecessary comedy ...The way it is being presented seems to be going right above the head of the viewer's and that need to be corrected

Tant, loved you explanation on the episode and you appropriately figured out the theme of the track. Yes, this track is focused on Khushi and only Khushi. Loved your views. As usual it's TANTASTIC. 👏 👏 👏

Before I get into serious analysis I need to talk to Gul Khan. I hope you are doing ok Gul. Let me show you some picture. When the first time I watched the episode, I watched it as any normal viewer would watch. You know what I felt??? I felt what is this CRAP??? Is this the way a Corporate works and is this the way you portray the corporate culture to the world in our country where the Boss's wife can just barge into a conference room and destroy the image of a family and her own upbringing??? Who is she kidding here??? Sabotaging Arnav's image or irritating Arnav at the cost of his and his family's image or herself??? For the sake of a normal viewer, let me ask you something??? Was there not any way to portray this track??? Did your creative team really fell short of ideas??? As I mentioned yesterday in my analysis, running a show is not an easy task and you need to take into consideration all the likes of all the demographics who loyally watches this show, IPKKND. You have to, God damn it. 99% of the viewers don't really understand why you are showing Khushi like this and why Khushi and Arnav behave the way they behave. You got to show the current track in a very intelligent manner where you can satisfy all kinda demographics. The message that you put across in your episodes and why you emphasize on certain words or use similes or use metaphors or use the tracks to show the various layers of all the characters all goes unnoticed because the presentation or rather the "Treatment" is Pathetic. Khushi's goal of irritating ASR is not a bad track at all and it is very much needed but while portraying that you have to be intelligent and informative also. People will always judge you in what you show and by the looks of it; they will judge you as a production house whose logical cap has gone for a moonwalk. Show the same track with CONVICTION and with utter IMPORTANCE. No, this track is needed and it will lead to a MAJOR EXPLOSION of Khushi"s thought process but tell me frankly who understands this or rather I'll put it this way - Ask your audience what they think you are doing??? I'll tell you they will say - you are passing IPL fever just so that the intensity can be brought back and nothing else. Did you get this now??? The entire work of all your writers went down the drain just because the "Treatment" of the track is Nonsense. Audiences DO NOT have the time and interest to decode the hidden meanings in the episodes and you need to understand that. My only advice to you is don't lose your essence in storytelling but at the same time also portray keeping in mind the regular viewers.

Now, I'll tell my perspective. Today purposefully I watched the episode from 2 different eyes because whenever I watch it my eyes only look at the screen but my brain watches it. I analyze this serial just because your "Aesthetic" way of portraying; just because I love to read the layers of every character and the thought process of the writers; just because it is not a typical Ekta Kapoor's serial where the simple message is delivered with "Good wins over the Evil"; just because the story telling is so metaphoric and aesthetic; just because you deliver the message with finesse and your writers do work on the characters and their attributes. The first time I watched it as a normal viewer like I described above but second time I watched it with my regular eyes - you know what I figured the message of the episode??? I figured it long back though but today one word gave me the confirmation on my thought process and that word is - "Kishmish" yeah - "RAISIN". That single word took me straight to the writer's mind which I received yesterday with Anjali's one statement to Arnav - "Khushiji khush rahene ki koshish kar rahi hain". Did anyone realize why a 9 yr old is brought here??? No, it's not because "Bacche man ke sacche" but because of the conversation that she had with Khushi, her maturity, her lost childish tantrums, her sudden mental development. The only thing that irritated me is the Child Actor, who thoroughly disappointed me in the first episode of her's. Forget about the child and let's concentrate - yeah with that one word "Kishmish" I realized "WHY" this track is all about Khushi and Khushi only. With that one word I realized that the writers have visualized Khushi with the poem - "Harlem" by Langston Hughes.

Harlem by Langston Hughes

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up

like a raisin in the sun?

Or fester like a sore -

And then run?

Does it stink like rotten meat?

Or crust and sugar over -

like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags

like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

Dream. What is a dream??? We all have a dream and these dreams are precious for all of us. Right??? What happens when these dreams are deffered??? What happens when we dream and at the end we figure out that they are getting postponed and left unanswered??? What happens when we try and try and try to come closer to the dream but then are left untouched??? What happens when the minute and slightest chance of fulfilling this dream seems lost??? What do we do??? How do we feel??? Have you ever realized this??? Well I'll explain why this track is of Khushi and Khushi only and why "Kishmish" was purposefully included today. Allow me.

Let's come to the character named "Khushi Kumari Gupta". A girl who was not born an "Orphan" but was destined to be at the age of 8. The age when most girls play with their barbies, dress them up, throws party for them, arranges wedding for them amongst peers. All these generic dreams of a 8 yr old was never meant for Khushi. She could have never imagined a prince for her Barbie may be with a free mind; a girl of that age never realized what death is; what a disaster looks like. That girl was adopted by a family, a family which is her refuge, a family that brought her up with the best of values and traditions but at the same time the simple fact was never hidden from her that she is an "Orphan". A family that never blocked her of dreaming for her "Rajkumar" and she dreamt of a "Rajkumar".

Let me take you to the first episode where we saw Khushi on the road waiting in the traffic signal and one boy asked her, where is your "Rajkumar"??? At that moment her destiny was up in the sky in the chopper flying and passed her by. That was her Rajkumar and she didn't recognize. That moment she was a bubbly, fun-loving, healthy, cheerful, an optimist who always sees the glass as half full no matter how hard the time may be. She as exactly like a "Grape", moist, tout, loved by everyone. Religiously, grapes were brought out of the Promised Land represented the promise of a new life God made to the Israelites. But, that was a religious definition by an article, where here in this context, grapes are one fruit which have variety of uses, be it oil, wine, jam, jelly, grape seed extracts, vinegar or raisins. Here Khushi and her works are not compared with Grapes and it's various uses but it is her "DREAMS" and it's comparison with "RAISIN" is the MOST IMPORTANT fact here.

Let us go back to the "first heart break" that she experienced and my favourite episode Diwali. The Rajkumar finally came to her life and it was that auspicious night when the prince surprised her with her Mom's lost anklet. She was perplexed at his behavior, she couldn't figure out any single reason behind his actions but one thing she realized that there is some attraction and some appeal visible in his eyes which was crying out loud to her to understand him; for understanding his actions. She stood there by the pool stupefied but then he came closer to her and she decided to give herself to him that very moment, as she realized this is the man of her dreams; yes, her heart had spoken and she was waiting for him to make the first move and he did but wait, did he complete it??? No. the trance was over and he backed off; she didn't realize what happened but she knew there, something, that is missing the connection and wanted an answer; for sometimes it's not the expression of action that matters but "Verbal Declaration" is "Very very Important".Upon questioning he backed off and his wedding declaration to the world, thrashed her heart and "Dreams" of her Rajkumar forever; yes, he shattered her dreams and she experienced her FIRST HEART BREAK and broke down in her comfort zone. He came to her but only to show her the reality that her dreams are deferred.

Did her dream dry up like a raisin??? No, not yet, but it started to fester like a soar. She started running from him but fate had other plans and there he is again infront of him. What will she do now??? The soar didn't have a chance to dry up and it never healed and she ran from it and this is why she got engaged with Shyaam; just to run away from her Dream; from her Rajkumar.

Now, cometh her "second heart break". Her Rajkumar came into her life a-gain. By this time she realized she is destined to be in Raizada Mansion as her sister is getting married. But the issue is did her dream die when she experienced her first heart break??? No. It didn't die for love never dies. It just catches dust in time. She found a hope for her precious "Dream" and removed the dust and started feeling the "Dhak Dhak" for the same "Rajkumar" who broke her heart earlier. Again, she started weaving a dream and this time her prince was a bit extra expressive with her; this gave her hope for her dreams to be fulfilled; the dreams that she thought were deferred. But fate had other plans again for her as she was destined for her second heartbreak.

She went to the terrace with a desire that she had started to weave within, a home with her rajkumar; a place in the world where they both will build up their own world; a desire to live in the most coveted place in the world - Arnav's heart; with ears just to listen the 3 most beautiful words every human being long to hear; the embrace that she was longing to experience; the heartbeat that she wanted to count; the endearment that was meant only for her; each and every small dreams of her's were weaved that day but she fell into the embrace of the devil instead. She was flabbergasted with Shyaam's presence and forgot everything about her sister's wedding and realized that her Rajkumar needs to know about Shyaam; she determined to break the crudest truth to him. But could she??? No. Destiny played with her "Dreams" once again. The day which could have been the happiest day of her life has turned out to be the most cursed day of her life.

A girl who dreamt of a wedding with her Rajkumar, who waited for 18 years, survived one heartbreak, finally finds herself to be offered to be a "DOWRY" by the same "Rajkumar" in order to save her sister's marriage. WOW. Whatta destiny??? Is dreaming a CURSE??? Or dreaming is a SIN??? Above all she is not even told the reason behind her being a dowry and how in the hell her Rajkumar expect her to behave like a normal person in front of his family and her family??? The "Rajkumar" who she had given her heart has ripped her heart into two bled to death of her "innocence". For heaven's sake verbal explanation is needed and everything in this world cannot be understood only by actions. She needs to hear from his mouth. Can anyone tell me how can a girl fight with the circumstances when the reason for the same is not known??? No. She can't. Period. This was her second heartbreak by the same "Rajkumar".

For the second time her dreams are deferred a-gain and it looks like her deepest desires are stinking like a rotten meat. Isn't it??? Or crust and sugar over like a syrupy sweet??? Is she cursing herself now??? You bet she is for being a fool in loving the same man that she felt deserved her love; deserved her precious heart. The man humiliated her only single "Dream" of getting married in a respectable manner. Do you still want her to be mentally stable??? I won't expect at all at least for a girl aged 18.

Then comes her "third heart break". Due to Naani's insistence Khushi and Arnav had to enact a scene from Heer-Ranjha, the eternal lovers. Can anyone imagine how Khushi must have felt there??? Pathetic would be the word for a girl who longed for love from her "Rajkumar" but always in vain, who had been asked to enact the scene of Heer - Ranjha with the same man who broke her heart twice. I must say God never give any girl a destiny like her's. Have a look at the second stanza of the poem - at this juncture her dream that was left unfulfilled may-be just sags trying to carry this heavy load, the burden of all the questions till date unanswered; frustrated she was when she said after Arnav asked "batana mujhe kab aana hain" that "phir aapke zindagi ki sabse aachi ghadhi aayegi ... Hum mar jayenge".She finally realized and accepted that this dream will never be fulfilled and that this dream of her's has DIED forever.

But then destiny played the crude part a-gain for the third time when her "Rajkumar" the mighty Arnav Singh Raizada finally "VERBALIZED" his heart to her. That moment when he said - "Tumhare bina Ranjha kuch nehin hain Heer", tears rolled out of her eyes; yes she cried for this is the first time she heard him say those words which she longed to hear; for this is the first time her deepest desire seems to be coming to fruition; what if he has said under the mask of Ranjha; what if he has said while he was acting??? She knew that he had spoken from his heart for her heart felt that moment; her heart felt those words were golden; for she felt she was never wrong in reading him and her heart was never wrong in understanding him. She was happy when she went to the green room as her "Rajkumar" had finally verbalized his emotions to her. Happily she requested him to complete the sentence but she was thrashed A-GAIN for the third time by the same "Rajkumar". Can anyone imagine her "State of mind"???

The bubbly girl once who was sportive today has become erratic. Can you blame her??? No. You CANNOT. For heaven's sake how many times can you converse with a "ROCK"??? What happens when you talk to a "Rock"??? Answer me??? Yes, it reflects back to you like an "ECHO". That was happening with Khushi then and this is happening with her now. Time and again this girl is HURT at the same place (Read: HEART) all the time. When is her "Heart" getting the time to heal??? The moment she seems to come back to life, this "Rajkumar" comes back to her to hurt her again and again. Can any person be sane at this juncture??? No. I am Sorry, but No one can maintain "Sanity". Absolutely No One. She is irritated today and look she is not irritated at Shyaam, is she?? No. She is irritated with the one person who rules her heart; the one person who she has given the "Authority" to be her King; the one person who never is vocal about his emotions and always expresses behind a mask - be it fake romance, be it challenge, be it an act, be it in trance, be it anything but never in "Reality". I support her on her irritation with Arnav but the only thing I don't support is the "Treatment" of the track. She is irritated with the ONE person who has all the answers but have decided to remain silent; yes that man is none other than Arnav Singh Raizada, her Rajkumar.

Wait for the day she gets one "HINT" from her prince and how she forgets everything A-GAIN and starts loving him like never before; how she encloses him in her heart for not to lose this moment again.

Today's episode talked about how her "Dreams" dried up like a raisin in the sun. The only question that today's episode asked - "Did Khushi's Dream dry up / Like a raisin in the sun?". Here the emphasis was not given on the appearance or the sweetness of the raisin, so the description isn't as significant as an image as it is as a simile, basically "a figure of speech". Why many authors compared a dream deferred to a raisin? We can see the raisin, which used to be a moist, taut, healthy-looking grape, has shriveled up to become a raisin just like once Khushi's "Dream" was bubbly, cheerful, colorful like a grape but now it has become like a "Raisin", a dream deferred shrivels up and turns dark because the sun (read: Time) has baked it. How truthful is it, isn't it??? Yes, time and again her dream was shattered and thrashed and crushed by Arnav Singh Raizada and like the sun bakes the grapes into a raisin, Khushi's dream have become like a raisin with time. Like the raisin, her dream has been on hold for a long time-consequently and she has been transformed into something, which we cannot relate to now; yes, we don't relate to this Khushi, you know why??? Because she is transformed now into something that she never was before. Unemotional. Can anyone blame her??? No. No one. Like people wouldn't believe that "Raisins" and "Grapes" are the same as their appearance are so different, same way, the Khushi we knew 10 months back and the Khushi we know now have hell and heaven of a difference and time and situation is to be blamed and no one.

This is where the small girl fits in. She came to resemble Khushi, that's why her name is "Babli" as in to represent our "Bubbly Khushi"; she loves "Kishmish" only to realize Khushi that her dreams are not withered and they can be achieved and there is still chance; she came to prove how Khushi is matured than her age; Hope like the last paragraph of the poem - which is a metaphor, that when your emotions are bottled up and your dreams are shattered then your heart might explode or can this small girl bring back the real Khushi here and save her from EXPLODING??? Well only time will tell and I guess that is why she is here.

After a long time, I have seen an "Episode" where the message is delivered with so much thinking. Kudos to the writers who emphasized that Khushi's "Dreams" dried up like a "Raisin" with time.

res.. 😉

*edited*

Sathya Ji and all Reduxians...

For the first time ever in the History of Redux, my reply appears on the 1st page. What more one can ask for in this life 😉
And the episode's worth in my view is as below:

  • Arnav in Red Shirt ... Droool-worthy 😳
  • Arnav cribbing on SWAMI ... LOLs-worthy 😆
  • Tikaa scene and that husky "Khushi".. Awww-worthy 😍
  • A, B, P scenes (in the alphabetical order) ... yawwwnnn-worthy..🥱... strictly skip-worthy... AND GAG-worthy 🤢
  • Arnav WORKING... I mean ACTUALLY WORKING..😲... shock-worthy 🤣
  • Khushi's interruption (she is one daring woman I say)... clap-worthy... 👏
    • Addition remark for Khushi's act ... I know many ppl may not have liked it.. Even initially I found it irritating.. but later I found it all OK... why .. because she has all the rights to irritate him and make his life hell... NOTE-WORTHY is that her actions never hurt anyone neither physically not mentally.. and the kind of situation she is into right now.. her actions are justified IMO.
And last but not the least my review ... Museum-Worthy 😆

ps.. 3 ppl liked my post with content "res" itself...😲 that means my opinion also is buzz-worthy😆😆😆

Cheers,
Monsi

Tanthya,

Fantastic post, Tanthya!!! I liked the episode but I hated hated hated the execution of certain parts in this episode. The same message could have been delivered in a different and better way. Well, saying that, I agree with you, today's episode was completely and totally about Khushi Kumari Gupta-Singh Raizada.

Below is my analysis:

Most of us from some days have been stating that they are thrashing Khushi's character, that we are not able to see her sweet caring nature, that she is a child etc, etc. Some points, I totally agree like her "Suhana la la la" song but after today, I don't think that CV's have totally compromised her sweet, sympathetic, caring nature. Firstly, this is because of the two scenes that CV's showed us today.

First one was her interaction with Bubbly. This is KKG, who immediately wants to become friends, get acquainted, even if the person is little rude to her like Bubbly was, but she did not let it faze her, she responded with a smart remark winning the child in the process.

Second one was when the office employee, an outsider asked her for jalebis. She was immediately the sweet, giving, caring girl who always wants to spread happiness either through words or through her food.

Also, her behavior, her caring nature, has not changed with any of the other family members, its been consistent with Nani, Anjali, Payal, Aakash and even Shyam. It has only changed towards her husband, towards Arnav and the question is why?

I want to try to answer this question today but before that I want to address her behavior towards Shyam.

We all feel that she should be thinking more about him than Arnav and today I disagree. Shyam has behaved incorrectly with her, YES , and she has to ensure that she stays away from him or take measures to protect herself from him, YES, but in her eyes, Shyam is not her culprit. He was once , but he was also Anjali's culprit and her duty that day was to let Anjali know the truth. She knew that Anjali should be the person to vent out the punishment to Shyam, as he was more Anjali's culprit than Khushi. She had come that day with the intention to tell Anjali the truth, but she failed in her duty. She did not tell Anjali and nor did she tell Arnav, and that was her "First Mistake". If you remember, she was going to tell Arnav on the day of the marriage but Anjali's pregnancy stopped her. That was her "Second Mistake".

After that, Shyam took a back seat in her life because Arnav Singh Raizada, the man of her dreams changed from her knight in shining armor to the devil in the black suit. But the day she realizes the truth, finds out the facts, confirms that the change in her man was brought about by Shyam and his lies, she will not spare Shyam, she will tear him apart, she will eat him alive and I am eagerly waiting for that day.

But today, she is not aware of the truth. Today, in her eyes, Arnav is more her culprit than Shyam and hence Arnav is her priority. Arnav, the man she was almost in love with, who had promised her the world, has stripped her of her dignity, of her self-respect, of her values and most importantly had alienated her from his family. The family has accepted her but somewhere it still nags her that she was responsible for the disrespect that came to her family because of her hasty marriage. No one knows "why" and the only person who can answer this question is Arnav Singh Raizada. Hence, she is now trying to find the answers by hook or by crook.

She knows Arnav will never give her the answers in a straight way and she has to get the answers from him in another way. So she is using that one offense, one weapon that even Arnav can't protect himself from, his anger. Remember "Gusse mein Arnav Singh Raizada ka dimaag kaam nahi karta, band pad jaata hain" She is using this, she wants to take him to that height of anger where he blurts out the truth, tells her about the "chot" she has given him, shows her the light of how a person can change so drastically from one moment to next.

But in her pursuit of her goal, without realizing, she is crossing those very boundaries which make her different from her nemesis, from Arnav. She is doing the exact same thing that Arnav has done, she is stripping him of his dignity, of his values and in a way, his self-respect.

For him emotions are not important, but image and status are very important. I don't know how many of you remember that promo, it was the first or second one. In that Arnav said, "Mat bulo, hamare kapade humein banate hain"

Today, Khushi took his clothes away, which is his "pehchan", his image in the same way he took her values which was her "pehchan", her image on the day of their marriage. Today, she almost stripped him of his dignity in the place which is his kingdom, his second home in the same way he stripped her dignity in the house of God, which was her kingdom, her mother's house. He alienated her from her family, she reduced his status to those people who he considers minions. (they still call her "bhabi" means he became their brother)

Now, who is the bigger sinner? Both have committed almost the same sins at different levels and the reasons for those sins are also almost valid. He did for his sister, the most important thing in his life, she is doing it to find the truth, her identity, the most important thing in her life.

The question then comes, is what Khushi doing necessary, can't she find the truth in different way but I think this was necessary, not the way it was shown or executed but this had to be done and now I would be speculating and below is my POV:

For Khushi to understand the magnitude of the "chot" she has given Arnav, she has to first understand the magnitude of love that Arnav has for her. To understand that love, she has to let go of all that anger, hurt, disgust that is festering inside of her, behind her happy smile. This can only happen when she crosses that boundary, the line which distinquishes pranks from harmful actions. The day she crosses that boundary, the day her actions hurt him either physically or emotionally, she will get a jolt, she will wake up. That jolt will make her realize that she is doing the exact same things that he has done, that she has been no different than him. That jolt will be her mirror which will reflect her actions and his reactions. This reflection will fill her with self disgust for her actions and confusion for his reactions. She will not understand why she did what she did and she will not understand why Arnav tolerated each and every action of hers with silence, with no retaliation or retribution especially when she knows his tolerance level is nil and he loves challenges.
She will ask him "Why", she will question him "Why" and she will question herself "Why". She will never get the answer from him but she might get the answer from an unexpected source and the answer to that "why" might prove to be the string that will connect the dots. The answer to the Why" will take her to the terrace where Arnav found out the truth, the "why" will help her understand the reason behind the marriage and the "why " will make her realize that it was not Shyam, it was not Arnav but it was she herself and her two mistakes that are responsible for her current circumstances.

Then, as Doods said yesterday and Tanthya has always wished , Khushi Kumari Gupta-Singh Raizada will repent. She will repent for her actions, will repent for her mistakes, will repent for the chances she lost, will repent for the love she lost and will repent for that man's vast love which she could not see nor understand.

I loved this picture for its significance and its symbolism. She was bend towards him and he was looking up towards her. There will be one day when Khushi will bow towards his great love because his love for her will be as pure, as elite, as important as her DM. For Arnav, sky is the limit and he is always climbing, always looking up and one day Khushi's love will be his limit, he will wish for it, he will always want it, he will always look towards it and when time comes, he will climb towards it and achieve it.

PS: Mami dialogue's are A-mazing: "Childhood sweater"😆

Honest confession!! Before reading your analysis I didn't have any inclination to watch the other half of the episode. That is when she entered office. I had it at that point. Everything else is fine but we have to maintain office decorum was my rant!! Even though it didn't change, I could digest the episode seeing from Khushi's POV. So my dear Satya there you go!! As I have said before another feather in your cap number N. Lost count of feathers and the caps as well...

My mom always says Be careful what you wish far. Thats one piece of advise I want to pass it on to Khushi. She needs it pronto. Her mind is totally blocked as she is hell bent on getting her answers. This is creating more problems for that poor soul if nothing. I so want some elderly person like buaji to advise her on somethings. Because I have great hopes from her. According to me if anyone can fix the problem in this relationship its her. I know for Arnav, its not that simple. His view on everything is very complex. By the time he tries to simplify that, it will be too late. So as you say Khushi is that right match. How much he has to thank DM I really dont know.
Coming back to that kid, I think she is here to create trouble in PAYASH paradise. Something tells me. (Ofcourse none of my prediction come true.. so what difference does it make even if I say something...) I have this feeling that CVs have brought in this kiddo to test the waters for PAYASH. They will need ARHI help to fix that issue and these two stubborn mules will come together to solve their problems which might pave way to clear their own MU. So convoluted theory. But CVs will not have anything going that easy, What do you all feel?

Tanths 🤗🤗🤗that was a brilliant and fantastic analysis👏...frankly for me it was way better than today's episode...especially ur thoughts on Khushi about her past and the present that she wants to escape from!!👍🏼!😃

I felt like killing myself or better the CVs for making my go through that torture today...I don't feel this is the show I fell in love with... This is not what I signed for!!!

Cummon CVs where did our old sensible, spirited and caring Khushi go??? This girl who behaves like a 6yr old child-bride is not the Khushi whom we all adore...frankly m not able to relate to her as well...to say m DISAPPOINTED today is an understatement!!!

CVs so today u made her look like a brain-less kid just to show her repenting in tomorrow's episode? Is that it?

If that's the case then we get ur point...but my ques here is what is valid reason for this????

Is there any meaningful reason behind all these or are u people out of fresh, sensible and meaningful ideas???? 😕

If by doing all these u want to show us that it's high time for Khushi to learn the consequences of her actions🤔 then my confusion is can't u people have handled this in a better way? Why make her look foolish!!👎🏼

Frankly I have never seen any one barging into the office and ruining an important conference meeting...it just not done...What abt normal human curtsey/mannerism of not interrupting when serious business going on in ofc?

I always feel the husband-wife fights should stay behind the closed door of their bedrooms...coz its a private affair..then why is Khushi mocking her hubby like this publicly??? She wants to irritate him...FINE but do that privately not publicly!!!

I really applaud Arnav's patience today for tolerating her...he really does love her!!!!

The only one thing that I liked today was the tika waala scene😳...loved it...especially Arnav's shocked murmur "Khushi"...it was not acting as both were totally caught in the moment!!!😍

*sighs* *deep breathe in and out*

Sorry for the rant guys but me so frustrated here😳😆...I guess m done with my ranting 😆

Extremely sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings..but I really needed to get this off my chest!!!!😳

Lovely post Sathu!

Each and every word is fantastic.

I loved your thoughts on Khushi...her previous world and her world now...which she desperately wants to escape...

Today's tikka scene shed some more light on her emotions for Arnav...she herself was caught off-guard for a few seconds and is undeniably feeling the strong tug towards Arnav.

Yesterday it was the scene in which she brushes away the stray lock of hair on his forehead...

I hope they show more such scenes of Khushi where her true feelings for him take over...

EDIT:

Doodsy: Just read your updated post...Hugs to you Dear...for I loved loved loved your analysis of Khushi today.

THe 'Kishmish' reference was something I totally missed out on...I am amazed at your capability of picking out the finest details and nuances of a character or the track...

It so true! Its almost like Khushi has lost her very essence...and it is totally understandable why she wants to get out of this marriage and is resorting to desperate measures...no matter what the collateral damage, she just wants out.

Beautiful analysis Doodsy...

BTW...the forum was filled with Khushi bashing posts today and some of them were downright nasty and ugly...I was upset to see some of them passing judgment on Khushi's character, totally neglecting and ignoring all the circumstances and incidents that have lead her to this situation.

After reading Sathu and then your post...mere kaleje ko thandak mili!

Thanks Hun!

Hi Tanthya:

Thank you for a wonderful analysis. How do you come up with such apt poems/songs every day?! 😃

I did not like the episode at all, and have not for some time. Still sticking with watching the show in the hope that things would turn around. I did not find the tikka scene romantic because I did not get the impression that Khushi was affected except to show her confusion at Arnav's reaction who was visibly shaken and affected. Maybe I did not read her reactions very well.

Also, while I can understand that Khushi is trying to get back at Arnav for ruining her dreams and aspirations, what I don't understand is why she does not have a similar mission to tackle Shyam who she knows for sure is lusting after her and ruining her life? How about a parallel mission of "101 ways to out Shyam Jijaji's lustful intentions towards me", or "101 ways to keep Shyam away from me"?

Cheers!

Things i liked

1. Arnav changed from that awful shirt to white.
2. Him saying Kushi when she puts the tikha , that small murmur in his husky voice and how he showed his heart racing at that moment with his action. Fab Barun👏
3. I have always loved and seen Arnav's pain, guilt, love, care, honesty, and now i am glad he even showed his patience, tolerance, ability to listen when required and snap off when not, dignity.
4. Arnav rubbing away that tikha, she does need to earn him back with love and respect, that day he shall not dismiss it this way. Good touch CVs.
4. Barun's acting
5. Deepali's acting.
6. Mami, i can tolerate her anyday, she atleast doesnt make me cringe.

Things i disliked:

1. I do not wanto talk about her at all.
2. Nani, at your age you should know when to encourage someone and when not to.
3. A diabetic patient leaves home without eating, and the least Nani does is laugh, he he ha ha, im giving exercise to my jaw muscles..

Random thought's:

1. What was the need of calling Ms. B dint we have a physically grown 9 yr annoying kid in RM already??
2. Someone please feed the hungry dogs at AR some food.
3. Ms. B calling Arnav as Arnav bhaiya, hmm can i please expect some selfless love from this kid towards him atleast for a day??
4. Can Arnav please not take favor from anyone when his health takes a toll. This is not the first time, he seems to have none who care for him, the dude really needs to have a control over his emotions , he needs to look after himself further.
Can this act enlighten him that his life needs to be taken care of by himself??

I liked the Tikha scene coz of Arnav's reaction's 😃

Edit: I hope all the South East Asian and South Indian specially Indonesian people are safe..take care guys 🤗 God bless!!
