I agree with annika20. I despise all the TV serials . I want to watch a nice Indian TV soap...but I find no options. I don't want to see nice women who are doormats; I don't want to see the women who keep their interest before others...ultimately turn psycho and in turn get ruined in every TV serial !!...Instead of women characters I want the creatives to either turn doormats kissing everyone's feet... or I want them to behave weird and run around crazy, and we get live telecast of their weirdness --that would be so much more fun to watch compared to always watching such exaggerations in defining the "ideal" women characters...or the twisted representation of the women who stand for themselves!!

I don't watch BV..and get updated here...but people who want to watch BV are watching it...perhaps because atleast it shows some action occasionally even if they hate the way women-characters are treated pathetically. Relatively other serials are as interesting as watching paint dry!!...a serial I "tried" to watch showed 5 women fighting over what is to be cooked...(the one who gets to decide what is to be cooked gains some weird level of supremacy!!)...another one shows a woman lead character shedding tears and being distraught because she is moving her bedroom. No...she is absolutely not possessive about her bedroom (Indian TV serial good girls are strictly not possessive about material things)!!...apparently the reason for her dismay is that she slept with her husband for a few days in that bedroom ... and she cant get over the "memories" of sleeping with her husband in that bedroom--- errr...no her husband wasn't dead and was actually moving out with her into another bedroom --but still she couldn't stop crying for her memories with him in the previous bedroom!!...AAARGHHH

Atleast characters in BV are trying to ponder over something more "significant" like how should ideal women behave with each other-- when apparently the same guy carries the title of their husband !! Sadistic, patriarchal, anarchist, weird...but atleast it is SOME action!!... the other TV serials from what I have seen show women going crazy over nothing!! Doesn't absolve BV of all its crimes towards women characters..!!

This serial Totally out of focus... Baal vivah ke against toh kuch hain hi nahi... Agar Jagiya & Anandi ek saath hote toh baal vivah ke side effect jayda nazar aate... Sabse Bada jo problem hoti hain wo hain Psychically . aur Psychically Anandi is all right...

i've stopped watching these craps esply on star & colors!!!
but no ppl always watch such shows not just outside forums or net but even by the ppl who visits net/forums & increase their TRPs while gud shows where heroine is least sufferer or stand up 2 injustice & get victorious r getting closed in lack of TRPs widout giving them enough time 2 wrap up the loose ends!!🤢🤢🤢

The problem is not about creating this ekta style Pat\i-patni and woh type serial.

Problem is that COLORS and the creatives had said repeatedly that they are against bal-vivah or child marriage and it's their endeavor against child marriages.

So what has they shown against child marriage? The only point of concern for child marriage seems to be early pregnancy of the girls - CVs have only protested against it and they have shown the ill effects of teen age pregnancy.

Otherwise they have GLORIFIED child marriage in this serial.

All the couple who are married as a child are happily staying together. JA's marriage broke but their bonding didn't. In fact repeatedly, the CVs have told that some old bonds can never be broken.

So - it's good to be married in childhood nah? You develop the relationship/bonding with your partner since childhood and it will be strong as a fevicol 🤢

Also - character of Gauri need not be butchered to make ?Jagya look saint. Even after what happened, Jagya is not saint at least in my eyes because he is the one who complicated situations. But CVs are hell bent in redeeming Jagya and the audience is buying it too!

@doyel i agree wid u!! though i don't think CVs've butchered any ckt. i cna't buy this logic after watching BV. nowhere it luked 2 me they'd butchered any ckt but yes they r trying 2 create the impression that jagia is sum sort of angel in comparison 2 gauri!! and 4 this not only CVs r responsible but public is in general wants this. even we've sum posts here which clearly stated that they want J's redemption!!the way J behaved wid A knowingly & intentionally was not the act 2 b 4given & get a reward in form of getting bcak 2 his family & A!!🤢🤢this all is ingrained in Indian mind that u shud 4give & accept back.i m not against 4giving but don't want any acceptance!!!
i find both ckts v.irritating, selfish 2 the core. i m not saying that ppl r not selfish but selfish 2 the extent of harming oder innocent prsn(genuine & gud human being) 4 ur own well being is total No-No 4 me!!🤢🤢

not sure bt i think the majority wudnt accept jagya as a seedha sada guy who got lured cause of the other woman.
he is the main culprit and gauri is someone who has lost her sanity n logic cause of her wrong doings, she knows she is wrong hence the need to prove that she is NOT wrong if that makes sense

After watching BV , i came to know that this practice of Child marriage is still prevalent in some villages in India even at this so called computer age.Personally, I don't find BV glorifying Child marriages.

Anandi - As Annika stated, Anandi has become a YES woman. She had been tuned to be a yes woman right from the tender age of 8, which is the most lovely period of ones life. Being such a brilliant little girl , she could have achieved so many things if she was not restricted to her family needs. Despite being abandoned, she tried to come out of it positively. She does love him but she never wished him to come back which is a positive step shown by the CV's. Coming to Sumitra..she had been dumb always, and would have continued to be dumb if G had not made frequent visits to Jester and started blaming everyone around.

Gauri - Gauri was also a victim of Child marriage. The CV's had shown how such trauma's effect the thinking ability of an individual. She was happy initially when her marriage was nullified. She would have been a happy little girl studying and earning her degrees as per her talent, if the society had not abandoned her making her life difficult. Her parents were criminals who made her thinking abilities worsen infusing negativity in her mind. So here, the society which supports child marriages is at fault which is clearly portrayed.

After J married G, Anandi cried for days and then she decided to move on. At that moment the first thought that came to her mind was to put an end to this evil custom. To eradicate this, one needs to be educated and that's how her struggles started again.

I agree that the CV's add flavor's to the soap for TRP's but i believe they did a good job too...

Coming to these latest crazy acts of Gauri, her child hood trauma, rejection, accompanied by her parents influence ...Then her unworthy husband who cannot make her feel secure added to it. Ofcourse ones nature plays a big role in dealing all kinds of situations...and G being aggressive and selfish by nature combined with all these effects made her life a living hell!
