I know there's NO USE writing this. Still writing it to express utter disappointment of Colors' serials' portrayal of women. Same women, jinke khilaaf ho rahe atyachaaron ka yeh channel wale virodh karte hain, as they claim in those disclaimers in the beginning of their serials!🤢
It's appalling how they first ruined the sprightly, free spirit character of Anandi - reduced her to a mere yeswoman, her education was made a joke, career came much later and even that is a joke (Sarpanch has all time in the world to stay at home, make laddoos, celebrate festivals and of course, teachers can close down schools anytime they want to! She used to advocate importance of studies & attending classes to adults and women, but herself closes down her school anytime she wants to!). Of course, Anandi's depression and moping mode was there for all to see last year. 😲
And now, TOTAL butchering and mauling of Gauri's character!😡 They did maul her character last year, but this time they've taken the character butchering to a whole new level!
The same two girls who were innocent, bright, talented, since childhood, had big dreams in their eyes, wanted to study and not being tied down in shackles of child marriage, the same girls who had empathised with each other's plight after their broken (for Gauri) and almost broken (for Anandi) child marriage as kids...have been ruined at different points of time, pitted against each other just to glorify Singh parivar and somehow ultimately make a hero of the boy who & whose DS cheated them & ruined them and their families!!
BV and other shows on Colors claim to decry atrocities against women, but in their serials they make women go through the worst of mental and physical cruelty!🤢 Hypocrites!
No man or his family ever had to pay for their sins in BV! Women - Teepri lost her mind, a friend of little Anandi was lynched and driven to commit suicide because she got pregnant before marriage, Asha spends most of her life being ostracised for being a widow and still battles hostility at times, Gehna literally gets bought for marriage to a man old enough to be her dad & bears a child out of marital rape, faces domestic violence even later & finally is made to ''adjust'', Sugna gets remarried but has to face insult and taunts for being a widow & unwed mother most of her life, Sumitra is bullied & can't even raise voice when her own brother is insulted by DS in front of her at family functions, Anandi's childhood gets thwarted, she's subjugated to the hilt, her parents are insulted all the time, her father even goes psychotic due to DS, she is used as a pawn at times by DS, by her parents and by Bhairon (when his conscience wakes up!) and of course, made a puppet by Jagya!Anandi's adult life is worse than her childhood & she's deceived, made to face rejection, taunts by not only her husband, but villagers, and husband's mistress (illegal wife!). Gauri's life ruined in childhood, thrown out of village for mistake of DS, deceived & manipulated by Jagat, rejected by Singhs, ostracised & taunted by everyone for her weakness when it comes to making decisions on her Jagat!
All women in BV have went through the worst! Funny how the most sane and bright girls have been made fools for this loafer, shameless, slimeball Jagya/Jagat/Jagdish!🤢🤪
What the hell are they trying to show eh? Men can be justified in every way. A woman has to live with her mistakes or die to pay for them or go insane. While all a tharki, liar, law-breaker, rapist, drunkard, manipulator, cheapo of a man has to do, is to feign helplessness, ''turn over a leaf'', say sorry, or become a bit more polite, celebrate festivals with you, do chikni-chupdi baatein and presto!He's redeemed! He's hero again!
A man even if worse than Ravana, can become Ram anytime. Women should only suffer in silence, or rot away or wait for the man to realise his ''mistake'' (yes! Buying a girl half your age for marriage & raping her is just a mistake, illegal marriage is just a mistake, impregnating a woman & living with her as man & wife in eyes of people is also just a mistake!🤪).
I am ashamed to be a viewer of BV! Here, women get educated or stand on their own feet only if rejected by a man (like Gauri got education after break up of child marriage & Anandi's education resumed only after Jagya ditched her! They wouldn't have become doctor or Sarpanch & would've been making rotis like Gehna or Sugna if their married life wasn't ruined!). Men's biggest blunders are called ''mistakes''. Jagya is being made some hero, whereas in reality he's a shameless guy who first shifted from Anandi to Gauri for greener pastures, more modern wife, and now as he grows older, he wants a gharelu wife who never questions him & is there to serve everyone leaving her work to be completed at midnight after serving everyone else!
He's used everything and everyone to the hilt! Exploited his parents, family, both girls for everything in life! Both Gauri & Anandi keep defending him or covering up his blunders either at work or at home!While he's loyal to none and swings like a pendulum as per his changing needs!😡
Go ahead BV, make a hero out of Jagya, redeem him of all his blunders, either kill Gauri or make her go insane and make Anandi accept her Jagya who will, after all years of mental cruelty & shame to you & your family, become laayak for wearing lockets given by DS and BM!🤢
None of the girls should accept or condone acts of such a scumbag! But you guys made a hero of him & are hell bent on ruining girl's characters!Always trying to hint at whether jamoora Jagya will understand ''farak'' between Gauri and Anandi - as if fault is Gauri's, not his!!
I wonder if in place of Jagya, Anandi had entered into an extramarital affair with some other guy, become pregnant with his child - then what would have happened? Even her own parents could have disowned her! And I wonder if the same slimy Singhs would have accepted her back or dismissed it as ''just a mistake'', waiting for her to realise her folly and come back to Jagya?!NO!!
But Jagya can be excused even for having illegitimate kid!😡 His mother (who failed at giving any sanskar to her son!) now says - ''Sahi aur galat ki pehchaan hai usko.'' 🤣 I was laughing when Sumitra said that dialogue to Gauri! Really? Jaise ki usko tumne kuch sikhaya tha!🤡
It's only Gauri who's at fault and is ''luring'' your dear son. Jamoora Jagat/Jagya/Jagdish is NOT at fault at all - even after so many years & on his way to father an illegitimate kid! SHAME!!🐷
