For a while now, I haven't really been listening to any Pakistani songs because I feel that the quality of Music Has been really disappointing lately.. I mean people steal someone's song and make it there own, and there loved for it? (Billy X Jutni has been stolen from Tupac FYI)

I remember being so Fond of Pakistani music just a few years back..

After that I don't know what they've been releasing..

Ali released Jhoom but I only liked that and Jee Dhoondta Hai..

Atif hasn't released an album in a long time..

Faakhir's just here and there too..

Jal broke up..

I mean seriously what's wrong?

Our country used to have such talented singers and songs, how come today it's all about oh your rich okay write a sh*t song and your dad'll produce it for you so you become famous..

I don't consider that music..

Bilal Khan's a new talent along with QB.. but they haven't really made a HUGE stand yet either..

We used to have proper VJ's who used to promote music, so many shows/concerts that were aired with singers like Jawad and Abrar.. Award shows..

IM, AAG, MTV, The Muzik, all were channels that had good Vj's.. Not wannabe's..

Today it's all about style, oh and not too forget the retarded english people have to speak.. Can you not communicate in Urdu if you can't speak english? Maybe I could understand you better..

So what's wrong? Has our quality of music changed, or are people just not that interested in all this anymore.. Money issues, no sponsors, etc.?

Don't forget to share views on your favourite artists (If we could name some apart from Atif and Ali please)

The musicians who used to sing a few yrs back, aren't singing as much or at all anymore. Bands have broken up apart from..,Strings? 😆..A lot of singers are now turning into actors & focusing on acting more..& the newer lot of singers/bands aren't all that good.

My favorite Pakistani singer is Shehzad Roy by the way. However, these days he only sings motivational stuff which isn't bad or anything..but., I wish he was still versatile with his choice of songs. It seems he's only sticking to the inspirational/motivational type.

In bands, I've always liked EP (they don't come out with anything anymore, besides that one Shor Macha), Fuzon (when Shafqat was in it) & Jal (when Farhan was still the lead).

Before there was a lot of focus on Music.. Nowadays there's hardly any..

I can't even watch a music channel with peace anymore because the one's who are singing are soo bad.

I also feel we've always lacked good female singers over the past decade or so. Whatever good music we've had over the past few yrs. it's mostly been music by the male population. & even today, females aren't that popular.

These are people who i like listening too.. inbetween they're were these other singers too, can't remember there names... they were pretty good.

One was Khadija something, the other Hina,,

The one's who sing drama tracks are also good..
