One gets a feeling that its always his heart which overruled his brain in matters involving Khushi. Otherwise he would have never fallen in love with her in the first place! His brain is still not working in this matter. With his heart totally shattered he is still in a reactionary mode. His immediate course of actions could be explained as being impulsive carried out of shock. But now its time for that shock to wear down and get his thinking cells back before it looks too out of character.

When Khushi and Shyam will come face to face and Khushi will ignore him..

Nice post. Arnav's biggest enemy is Arnav. I think this track shows the deep insecurities this man has that he cannot be unconditionally loved except by his Di.

His suspicions of Khushi, his brain freeze as he plays the same moment again and again in his head are all indicative of a trauma. He cannot dare ask her, nor does it appear he can even leave the moment and move forward.

Similarly the memory of his mother appears also to follow a single loop. One picture over and over again.

KKG does not have these same traumas. She immediately understood that the change in Arnav's behavior is BECAUSE of something. She also understands that she hurt his heart. That is brain. She knows despite his words, she means something to him. No matter how much he says he hates her, she cannot really believe. She has always felt she deserves love in some way.

Unfortunately because Arnav has his own demons, he cannot think in the same manner.

I think we're forgetting something the CVs has been saying to us for a long time. WHEN ASR IS ANGRY HE DOES NOT THINK PROPERLY HE MAKES THE WRONG DECISIONS, TAKE WRONG ACTIONS, SAY THINGS HE SHOULDN'T AND THEN REGRETS LATER. Nani and Anjali repeatedly said the same thing over and over. Unfortunately this shortcoming is part and parcel of his character.
