what i think of the following two moments : brilliantly done! very minute minutes, but that's what the leads now are; caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
One, Arnav flings a blanket on Khushi and gets back, sits on the couch and breaks his knuckles in nervousness..
He closed the door straight on her face and tries getting to sleep, which does not work due to obvious reasons. he looks out and finds Khushi in the exact same pose he found her during the Nainital night. He remembers what he had done to her and regrets how he was the reason of her fever. But is still helpless, as he can't call her in, ouch he'd hurt his ego.. but can't let the night feed on her. so, plainly flings a blanket on her.. (as contrast to the Nainital night; he gave her nothing.. what an improvement i say! π) But is still unsure about his decision. he has fear lurking at the back of his head. What if she catches a cold again? *breaks knuckles* He loves her, can't show it off, he has to show that he hates her, he can't..
faced with two dangerous alternatives.. which is more painful?
Two, Arnav tells Khushi he dreads the 6 months ahead and Khushi questions : then, why did you marry me? neither do I want to stay with you for 6 months..
She was forced to .Not forced, compelled to. She had to choose between her sister's marriage and her own happiness. The man who she thought would bright up her colourful life put her in a fix and said checkmate. and she comes home to get past more painful words; if not actions..
And then there he is, telling her he can't put up with her.. no reason. Then why did he marry her?
And why did he close the door on her on what was supposed to be their most memorable night? He brought her bangles, adjusted her bindi, two days ago.. Does he love her? if he does, is this what love is? He asked for her hand to sake of her sister's happiness. And now he doesn't want to breathe in the same place as her. Does he hate her?
Faced with two dangerous questions. Which is more painful?
special mention to :
Barun is back in orange, and yes! with a haircut!
Sanaya looked gorgeous the day after. loved the simple plain yellow saree that highlighted her innocence in a seemingly new world; full of gloss..
