Two questions: In which way is Tumbbad a "franchise" (with just o n e movie for now)... and why is it so praiseworthy that Alia may get a role in the next Tumbbad movie?

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but it is on my watch list because of Anand L. Rai being a co-producer and this kind of movies mostly have success and narrate folk tales.

With my limited time at hand, I've to choose... I watched the Stree movies, Varun's & Kriti's, Sharvari's, the BBs...
