I understand CBs wanting to expose families like bajpayees who still exists in our society. What I don't understand is why are they showing Mishras taking crap all the time, recent example being dadi and food at sangit party. What would have been Nayi soch would be showing Mishras standing upto Bajpayees in a positive wAy, without disrespcting any family members.

Great post as usual, always enjoy reading your post. Right topic at the right time...

In our country the boys side usually has the upper hand. We still see the bride's parents and relatives going overboard to please the groom's relatives who think it is their birthright to make unreasonable demands. The television can be a wonderful medium to create an awareness and bring about a change in any kind of constricted thinking. After all it reaches the bedrooms of millions of houses. I am hoping that Navya will be a pathbreaking serial which will help bring about this change through the two protagonists. Anant and Navya are loved by millions and if they can bring about a change in the Bajpayee's mindset, then this change can have a far reaching influence on the minds of many others like them.
Regarding Navya's dadis not taking her meal before the others though she felt unwell, it wa because she loved Navya and wanted her happiness. She did not want to be the reason for any kind of torment for her granddaughter after marriage. Knowing the Bajpayees, she was scared for her granddaughter.

I am sure Anya and their love will be able to overcome all barriers. They have been through a lot since the time they met and look how they are now getting married in spite of initial family opposition.
Navya never wants to live separately. She wants to win Anant's family over and I am sure she will succeed as the story unfolds.

When I saw the precap and the sequence of events I was thinking about all negative aspects that could happen, and just missed the point where something good too might materialise.
It took me sometime to think that what if Guddu blabbers that "yes he was under the influence of alcohol" or it brought out that he was in such condition. then whole thing could turn in favour of Anant, Navya and Mishras, and the whole relationship between the families...
Hoping cvs would give us to see something in that limelight... lets see what unfolds before us tomorrow..
