At Makar Sankranti celebrations , all members of both families are enjoying dancing n singing. Anupama sends video call to Bharti n Rajni and sends greetings on the ovassion. Anupama is very happy to see Rajni treating Bharti so well., Prarthana who is sitting n watching from the side carelessly steps on to some tangled kite string n takes a tumble on her tummy .
All are horrified , Moti baa lashes out at Shah family for being careless. Gautam blames the Shahs. Parag is guilty for letting his daughter go. Parag hits Ansh with his shoes for failing to care for Prarthana. Anupama accuses the Kotharis for being equally careless as they all were every much present here but none kept an eye on their Prarthana. Kotharis are shocked . Anil agrees with Anupama that it was everyone’s duty and all failed , no point blaming one person for it . She reminds Parag to reseller their custom of respecting their damaad, or else even Shah family were wearing shoes .
Vasundhara complains that Shahnfamily has called a doctor from the chawl and shares her mistrust . Soon the doctors comes out after checking and assures baby n mother were fine , Prarthana was in last stages of pregnancy n she should not take strict bed rest , no exertions . Shah family assures they will look after her .
Parag asks Anupama to promise that she will take responsibility for Prarthana and not leave it to her family memebrs who were good for nothing . Anupama hesitates but soon promises that she will leave only after Doctor assures Prarthana is well n can take care of herself .
Shah family returns home and all are concerned for Prarthana. Parag gets emotional as Prarthana shares her fondness for Ansh in her sleep .

Anupama gets frantic call from Jassi 8nform8ng that builders had arrived with bulldozers n we’re going to pull down their chawl n asked them to vacate the premises . Anupama is shocked, she rushes to chawl and stands before the bulldozer to save her chawl. Rajni and Parag are shocked to face Anupama
