Amitabh for me has always and will remain the one and only Vijay Dennanath Chauhan. The role was alandmark role, although he did over do it a bit, but keeping in mind the era the movie released in, it was a fantastic performance.

To date many people still try to ape his dialogues in the movie, his potrayal stands out for me just for his voice diction and dialogue delivery. I also think a lot of Rajini's dialogue delivery is heavily inspired from this role- esp in the movie Baasha.
