King Khan has his way with Videocon-Sansui awards

It is said that one should never throw stones at a sleeping lion. That's what precisely happened with Shah Rukh Khan and now the organizers of the Videocon-Sansui awards are bearing the brunt.

SRK is known for not taking things lightly specially if it involves his near and dear ones. And who are closer to him than his own wife Gauri Khan and his brother-like friend Karan Johar .

SRK was annoyed that Rangita Nandy, Pritish Nandys daughter and the producer of the Aishwarya Rai - Sanjay Dutt starrer Shabd , had turned away Karan and Gauri from a special screening of the film as according to Rangita "They were not invited ".

Now, the Videocon-Sansui awards are organised by Pritish Nandys company PNC and SRK had put his foot down if it were to organise the awards this year too and so Pritish was politely asked to keep away.

The organizers tried their level best for a patch-up between SRK and Nandy, but once the King Khan had put his foot down, there was no chance.

The conclusion of all this was that the awards that were scheduled to be held in Birmingham on May 29, have now been cancelled as most of the award winning movies this year feature SRK.

But there are strong chances that SRK won't disappoint his fans (who have been waiting for months) and may perform at a concert instead in Birmingham on the same date.

TFS, I don't know- if they really weren't invited, then what she did was right. If they were, then SRK is doing the right thing.
