I knew tat Bani was orthodox and stuff and her behaviour is quite understandable as she comes from a middle class family. But Senior WALIA, i thought he was hip man!😆 But no I guess he is not!

Bani suggested this idea that if anu is pregnant then she shud be married off. And our Mr Walia agreed to it! 😕 That is ancient! As most marriages which happen due to pregnancy r boud to fail. Walia didnt even tink if ANu was mature enough to marry and if she really loved this guy. He didnt even assure Anu tat its ok if she does not get married to this guy. Leaving Anu thinking that Marriage is the only option.

The biggest skare is tat the conversations between JAI and Bani r so not like wat is happenin in this world. They r ancient. I thougt Jai was cool and he wud sway Bani into this world. But it seems tat even Jai is boring type! Not sure anymore if i wud like their ROMANCE!

Being an unwed mother is still looked upon badly in countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal, etc. Even if you are from an wealthy family or very educated, everyone believes that a girls should be married to have sex, and if she did have sex she should definitely be married to have a baby. Its a matter of ones family honour.

Thats why they have showed that they would love Anu to get married to the guy she is having a baby with and they do seem to love one another so it should not matter if they are so young.

Hope you understood what I have wrote. Diffrent countries different point of views depending on the countries culture and mind set.

Sorry, but I don't agree with you. You have to see things from once religion, culture and society. The indian culture as many more is still not accepting single mothers. So Bani's proposal to get Anu married is just normal. She tries to find a solution to the problem. I guess Anu does like/love the boy otherwise she wouldn't have been preggy by now and it was no where mentioned that she was raped. It is not necessary that we always follow the "modern" West-world with everything. Holding to ones own culture, morals and values isn't a shame. Even better these same culture, morals and values are more precious then any other so called "modern hype". Holding to what's been right for ages doesn't mean ur backwards, it means u hold to what is righteous and prestigous. Not everything thats considered to be modern is per se good. I see alot of wrong things in what is called "modern" yet I see alot of good in what is called to be "backwards". Anyways this is just the way I think about it.

No offence BUT i have lived in India and i dont think that in India everyone believes that girls shud get married to have sex! Girls in India r educated and hardworking and get married for companionship not for sex!

I think that Upper class families in India r much more open minded than rest of India and dont have that strategy tat if a gurl got pregnant just get her married. I think India is opening up to new changes like the rest of the world as India women r becoming more educated and r stepping up wid men in everything. Divorce is becoming much popular as women now r standing for their rights and are going for their freedom. The key is education though! wen women will become more and more self-dependent they will probably have more freedom.

If Anu was tat smart to meet a nice guy and take her own decision to get married she wudnt have gotten pregnant at the first place. Anu is very innocent and stupid. She needs guidance! Otherwise she wud end up getting married to a wrong guy and wud repent for rest of her life.
