if anu did not love dis guy she would not have slept with him..I still believe a girl shud be married to have a child.. she shud be financially and mentally stable. The child should not have to be a burden. Both the parents should be responsible and willing to have a child. And if this is ancient belief that I support it. A unmarried girl should not be pregnant.

Let me try to explain the way I have judged her character.

Anu is really an interesting character here. You can see the direct impact of the rift in married life of her parents. She is a child inside and also grown up girl who has dreams of her own like any other teenaged girl has.

From all the episodes I watched, and the way I saw how Ranveer reacted towards his father on couple of occasions, I guess, being the youngest kid, she is the last to see her parents discuss anything and come to common agreement, if at all she has seen.

By the time Anu was able to understand the surroundings, she is a witness to the broken marriage. Jigs no doubt loves her children and we have seen that she has respected some eldrers like Tauji and Maasi. But, being the youngest one and the time being the separation of parents, each of the parent have tried to deal with their broken marriage and during this phase, Anu has not got the attention and cuddles of the parents that she desired to have.

As Anu grew, she was given the freedom to do what she wants and buy anything she likes, etc, but not guided or discussed about her fears, likings, and feelings.

So, naturally, she looks for comfort from anybody who talks to her with emotion and attachment like Bani did. She plays pranks with Dadi to fill the lacunae she experienced in her childhood, and Dadi also thinks that she is very childish and Dadi very easily gets down to the level Anu wants. After all, we have seen dadi to be a very nice, jovial, and youth-like adult.

But, if you see the way she interracted with the pundit, (questions, replies, facial expressions), she is absolutely normal teenage girl. Another incident was today when Bani questioned about Rohit's parents in front of Adi and Jai, she did not react. That is the direct impact of Jig's outburst "Bani has become so much more closer to you than me, go to her". She is still remembering her mother's words and that has hurt her a lot. She wanted to talk, but she did not react because she feels that she has hurt her mother's feelings by being close to Bani. But, when Adi asked her to give him a chance, she started coming out like a normal kid. So, she wanted attention and guidance of her parents and the love of the eldrers rather than freedom to do what she wants. She wanted a friend and a guide together, which she lacked so far.

If you look at Ranveer's character, he too is not all that bad. But, probably he has witnessed lot more between his parents for his age when his parents got divorced. He is been very close to his mom and so, he thinks anything his mom does his correct and he reciprocates to his mom's pain immediately with equal pain. I bet, if Jig's says do not stay with girls in the night, he will follow her orders immediately. He wants his mom to be happy in what ever way she feels happy. Sahil was also one confused guy, till he found the company of Ranu.

Hope I was able to make sense.

Same here. Also Anu does want to get married to Rohit as she has said herself. And Rohi has also talked to his parents about Anu. So getting the two married isn't a bad idea.

In todays world especially coming from an indian background, a indian females izzat is very important.Actually getting pregant before getting married brings so much shame on the girls family.I know i might sound old fashioned but iam proud to be part of a culture, where being pure before getting married is looked upon.It just reflects on what kind of up bringing that person has or i might be wrong maybe its the enviroment,or the peer pressure. As for Anu as innoccent and dumb she was playing earlier all i have to say is that you cant judge abook by its cover!

i completely agree with grumpy......pregnancy out of wedlock is seen as a major issue today in society regardless of how wealthy or educated you are ...it's about family honour. religion and tradition..and bani is doing what is left to save the family honour..... and both jai and bani are correct in taking the action they are...😆😆

Suku I wish u Best of Luck .. with this topic . !There are several .. against One ...
First of all.. Your views are different from the rest .. -- Glad to hear a different opinion Honest .. and Forthrite .

as we r talking about india .... i waill say .. I visit india very often ... and .. Girls women .. r having sex ... before marriage .. coz it part of dating for them , .. now .. i am sure not all get married to . the guys ..immediately .so many of them .. have abortions .. and continue Life .
Sometimes .. most of them are very young .. or have a career to think about .
Yes its wrong .. BUt Its Happening In India .. Asia .. London Singapore Africa ... Blah Blah ..
Neverthe less .. rite or rong .. charcterless or not ..
teenagers .. young adults .. Unmarried girls ... r doing it .. ( Not all ) .. But quite a percentage of them .
Now in Anu 's case .. she is a Cool girl .. even if the guy didnt marry her she wouldnt mind .. . Thats why she was also BOLD enuff to Say ..She was the One preggy .
she would go for an obortion .. but it cannot be done .. because .. of medical reasons , kekta' story .. etc etc ..
So she aint got a Choice /.. but to marry this rohit Charcter. Whether she loves the Bloke or not .. or the reverse .
