I think , Rano was already bit sad with Ishan - Suhana not being there . Then BM toh say " Tumhara Ishan toh chala gaya Mumbai " Jokingly ofcource . but For Rano it must have stung her in Heart . Her face went down with this .

she is not entirely wrong there is always BM who takes decisions never Rano . Yes , She has a different personality than BM - RB . I think she never saw hardship which BM - RB saw. Even though she has different personality than them , she never said out loud . This is not something she felt today . Must have been many times in the past too . but she let it go as she never Q. BM 's authority . Now It's just been one to many times .

" Faisla karne kaa adhikar dena thaa toh taab dena thaa jaab Ishan ke Mumbai jane kaa Faisla karna thaa . Main Use Mumbai jane hi nahi deti "

Rano has not let her son go , she has cut open her heart & sent piece of her heart to Mumbai . Part of her fears that Her son may not want to come back to her . Nothing will b same as It used to b . It is not easy . My Mom still cries for us . As their Nest is empty .

They [ Kashyaps ] never let Rano make any decision , even her own Husband asks BM more than Rano . It is not easy to see or live with . BM is not someone who will do anyone wrong but Rano too has a voice . Maana ke woh Roti hain haar baat pe . Paar haar ke Labz Main Uska dard bahe raha thaa . She didn't join the family so that she can have children .

Just jumping into the problem even before I could understand the problem:😆

1. According to me the power of attorney need not be with Mom and Dad.

2. It can be the head of the family--grand parents/uncles/aunts

3. If Rano is having issues with BM taking decision for Ishaan then this is not the time after close to 30 years of marital life in the kashyaps.

4. She should have raised this point at the beginning. Now just cuz the decision doesn't go well with her she is standing up. Not fair.

But then considering a mother's plight I can't put the blame on Rano entirely as well. She was blown away by emotion

No , It doesn't unless U r living in a small Family [ Mom - Dad - Kids only ] . In this case . No one asked Rano what she wants / Thinks . That is what she wants . Acknowledgement OF her Voice .

They all can give or points PRO _ CONS of the decision but Rano has a voice & let her use it . She cries a lot [ that is her personality ] but Her POV should count in as a VOTE too . Rajashahi nahi parr Haar kisi kaa Maat[VOTE] toh lo .

Today It's just one too many . She doesn't have that big of a problem but when BM took the decision , Alok ne Haan main haan milaee & Shut Rano up or something so She never had opportunity to say .

She was never happy with the decision , which she tried to say it . She thought that she doesn't have a right to make one . While truth is she never said out loud what she wants . She let others make decision . doesn't mean she agree but end of the day She is the one who suffers . People like Suhana say things on the face right - Wrong . People like Rano [ Andar hee andar khub ghut te hain & then say things left - right ] Rano doesn't want to say things but I think Today BM's comment abt Ishan pushed her . Since It is all in her heart - Mind , Now she will say things which she will regret later .
BM said jokingly but to Rano took it wrong way .

It is the circumstances that R pushing her, If she had not said what is in her heart , than Alok - BM would have never ever thought to ask Rano WHAT SHE THINKS ? She deserved to b asked .
In real life I have seen families Who only ask their one Bahu [ one who earns money or from Wealthy Family ] While other's vote or POV doesn't count . Ever their own husbands r kathputlis to their parents hands .

Here you go nets...Completely agree with whatever you said... And completely understand Rano too... Rano need to get her identity in household decisions and at least for her children... But her decision of not sending Ishaan ... mmm... i think that ia wrong...I mean she should know what her son need... Even BM & Alok said "No" first and then changed their mind seeing Ishaan's sad face...

According to me, Rano can take decisions, but not just from heart... If it was her, then she would never allow Ishaan to go just bcz she loves him so much. mm... So this is just a matter of "how" to take decision I think.

Unless a person voices his/her opinion or speaks out no one will take that person seriously. Not everyone can take decisions. Some leave it to their better halves or their family members. Everyone knew Rano didn't want them to go..BM even told her once that they should let him fly. There was also once discussion between Alok and Rano where it was shown that Rano finally understood the need of the hour.

All this outburst is out of motherly love for Ishaan. She is not able to control her emotions. There is nothing more to it

Nice Post Nets... which makes me agree with you... 😃

Looking at the WU & Discussion thread... I think she is right... her voicing for Adhikaar is needed... she shud have been given the Adhikaar... earlier itself...

But I feel... She has raised this issue after so long... it's been 2 years her Son got married... though she is Saas.. she never raised this point before... and now she is voicing her Rigts... it shud have been done earlier...

Though I can come to conculsion after watching Epi... I am giving my views after reading WU & your post... 😊

I agree abt Rano's inability to take hard core decisions , It is wrong to NOT EVEN ASK her OPINION. That is what pushed her to edge. BM - Alok took decision so that Rano never have to make hard decision but they never clarify their intentions either . So for Rano [ not knowing the real reason ] feels that She has no value or Astitva in the Household & No one cares what she thinks . Once BM - Alok explains them selves or their actions regarding decisions than Rnao will understand .

If I remember It was Alok - BM went to see Suhana for the first time . It was BM who called Sona so that sona can mend Ishan - Suhnaa marraige life better [ Which at the time Rano complained saying Didi aapne Mujhe bataya bhi nahi ?] So Rano has been ignored bcauz of her crying habit . But underneath she too has a personality . They can look past Suhana's flaws & ask her but Rano ?

@ red: adhikar milta nahin hai adhikar liya jaata hai.. For that Rano should do something where she can be trusted with. U can't ask someone who is bad at Math to do accounts..Same here..BM and Alok take all decisions cuz they deserve that job as simple as that. Its not that this decision was taken behind her back. She could have raised this point at that time

Every now & then she said stuff like " Toh kya main kuch bolu bhi nahi ? " " Maine kaha toh kya bura kaha ? " " Mujhe toh bataya bhi nahi ? " Her own Husband , kids go to BM for guidance but never asked her how she feels ? That is where problem lies . Now that Alok is not asking her , Her kids r not going to ask her anything . Let alone bahus of the family . Everytime she said something they all make fun of her crying , which in it self is annoying but since she has weak heart but doesn't necessarily means doesn't have a Voice too .

U can write after U watch the episode too . 😉

True yaar... I was expecting such outburst from Rano for a long time and finally it happened. Good... Ab dono - Didi aur Chotti - baithke shikayathe door karegi... And I want Alok also to give Rano her identity by asking about her opinion about everything... Rano cries, but that doesn't mean she can't handle hard situations...
