Purani Dodi Room
Nahar tells Saloni that he did not marry her because of darkish complexion or to negate Chandni's beauty. He married her because of her qualities and that's the truth. Chandni and Saloni are two different parts of his life. Chandni is his past and Saloni is his present. You are my today and I am trying to forget the past. I wanted to tell you everything abt Chandni but I thought I wld loose you. Chandni and me were in love with each other madly. Saloni ques that if you do not regret loving her then why did you hide all this? Do you regret your 1st love? Nahar replies yes, may be I regret my first love. After marrying Chandni I realized we had probably only attraction between us & were not just made for each other, our life, attitude, likings were different. For me it was my fly first but Chandni did not want to share her love and hated others whom I loved or those who loved me. She was possessive abt me. Saloni says that but possessiveness is also love.
Living Room
Brijesh and all fly members are anxiously waiting. Kakisa says that it wld have been better had we told her the truth before marriage then this ques of deceit wld not have risen. Brijesh replies that now we cannot change anything now but only seek forgiveness from Saloni.
Purani Dodi Room
Nahar tells Saloni that Chandni's over possessiveness started creating prob's in my life and I realized that my love had failed. Early on I ignored her complains and jealousies but with time they augmented.
In Flashback
Nahar Room
Nahar is calling out for Chandni but she is not there. Tara comes and Nahar tells her that his shirt button got popped off & if cld she tack one? Tara tells him to wear another shirt but Nahar says that he is going to a party and this matches with the suit. Tara agrees to do it but banters that they are depending on her so much that she shd have come in childhood. Nahar laughs and says in that case because of child marriage they wld land in jail. Tara says that there too you wld have demanded matching suit. As Tara bends to cut the thread she says when will you back off me? Chandni comes and sees them. Enraged she ques Tara that do you want him to change? If yes then you wld not have indulged in baseless & idle repartee. You wld stop all this Devar-Bhabhi teasing and understand that all relations have boundaries and they shd not be crossed. No wife wld like to see her husband with another woman. Nahar upset tells her that why is she creating an issue out of small thing? Since you were not there she just tacked a button for me. Chandni furious retorts that if I am not at home then wld you do all the things that you do with me with her too? Will you take her to bed? Tara insulted and incensed tells that being a 'bahu' how can she talk so repulsive and tarnish the reputation of the family.
Purani Dodi Room
Nahar continues that whether it was her love or her insecurity he does not know. But she did not understand him. Their relationship kept on deteriorating but he tried to hide the smoke of the fire from other fly members. Somewhere I was responsible since I had married her against Bhaisa's wishes.
In Flashback
Nahar Room
Chandni brings food and tells Nahar that they will have food in the room. Nahar tells her that no they will have it with everyone and that's the custom of their house to eat together. Chandni ans that why is he breaking her heart and she wants to eat with him. Nahar says that the fly loves each and other and it gives them an opportunity to share their day's events. Chandni irritated tells him that this is all useless and crappy custom. You are valuing them more than your wife's desires. Nahar leaves telling her that he is eating with all and wld wait for her.
Dining Area
Brijesh, Tara, Kakisa, Aditi, Dheer, Nahar and Chandni are seated with Bhabho serving them. Chandni is simply playing with food when she demands from Nahar " Tum mujhze apne hatho se khana khilao'. Nahar and others are stunned. She tells that you say that I am your life, you love me a lot so now 'Tum mujhze apne hathe se khana khilao'. Nahar embarrassed and dazed tells her no. Chandni says that you love me then what's the prob in showing the love in front of all. Since you are feeling shy I will feed you with my hands and attempts to feed him but Nahar pushes it away. This infuriates her and she stands up and screams at Nahar that its true that you are unable to express your love for me in front of Tara since you hate it. You might call her Ma in front of everyone but when alone you have an illicit relationship going. Brijesh angry tells her to stop the nonsense but Chandni tells him to shut up. Nahar slaps her. Chandni leaves.
Purani Dodi Room
Nahar narrates that Chandni's madness and eccentricity only increased with time. They caused disruption and all efforts to control failed. They finally ended with her death. Chandni died only once but before her death I died many deaths. Saloni ques Nahar that you have told me all except how did she die? After that you have nothing else to answer and please tell me. Nahar says why do want to know? I have told you the complete truth. Saloni replies yes you told me all except the part how she died. Nahar tells her that I have forgotten Chandni and now I am yours. I cannot answer this ques of yours. With folded hands he pleads her that not to ask. Saloni tells him that if he tells her then there will be no more burden on her heart. Nahar requests that please do not ask me since I cannot share. Nahar starts to cry. Saloni tries to comfort him but restrains & leaves.
Living Room
Bhabho says that they have taken lot of time and shd have come now. Tara tells Brijesh to go and check if everything is ok & nothing untoward happened. The mention of purani-dodi reminds me of the storm it caused in our lives and I still get shivers. Kakisa says that do not go since the matter is between Saloni and Nahar. Brijesh tells her that it's not right to leave Nahar alone to find the solution. Just then Saloni climbs down the stares with everyone looking at her in anticipation but she walks past them. Next Nahar comes down. Tara asks him what happened and Nahar replies that he told her everything. Brijesh anxious asks him even how Chandni died? Nahar tells him no but all things related to marriage. Nahar tells them that Saloni is deeply & immensely hurt. I don't know how to console her? Saloni might leave the house and go. All are worried upon hearing this.
Tomorrow: Saloni asks Kakisa that she has to now tell her something & that is how Chandni died.
