Part 7:-

Recap:- Khushi comes to know that Arnav has taken advantage of her when she was drunk and unconsicous. She kind of stopped talking to Arnav but due to Payal's wedding with Akash, couldn't say anything to anyone. Arnav is trying to get Khushi to talk to him and forgive him and when he comes to Khushi's house, he sees her running out of the house crying. Khushi doesn't seem to have noticed a huge truck coming her way...

Ab aage:-

Arnav(shouting):- KHUSHI... Ruk jao...

The truck was just a few inches away from her when suddenly she was pulled in a strong embrace just like she was saved on the rainy day when Arnav asked her to do the car parking for delegates. For a moment both Khushi and Arnav re-lived the same close moment. Arnav just couldn't believe that he was so close to losing Khushi today.

Arnav finally came back to his senses and pulled Khushi away from his embrace. He just wanted to take a look at her, look that she was okay and that she was not majorly hurt. But when he pulled her away from his embrace, anger filled him. He was angry that Khushi was this stupid to run in front of a huge truck. He took her hand and dragged her to a deserted corner on the road. There was a building that was being constructed and was in half-constructed state. Arnav without saying anything dragged Khushi with himself inside of the building. Once inside, he left her hand and had an hard look at Khushi.

Arnav(in a angry tone):- pagal ho gayi ho kya Khushi(Are you gone mad Khushi). What the hell were you trying to do running in front of that truck. Didn't you see the truck coming this way. Don't you even see where the hell are you going. Agar tumhe kuch ho jata toh(What if something had happened to you).

Khushi(breaking free from Arnav's hold on her shoulders):- Ha, hum pagal hi hai. And what is it to you if I live or die. Who are you to tell me what to do.

Arnav was surprised by the acidic tone of Khushi. He immediately sensed that there was something that Khushi was hiding.

Arnav(with concern in his voice):- Khushi, what happened. Tell me, is something bothering you. I am here for you.

Khushi(angry with Arnav's touch, shakes it and moving back):- Nahi, I don't want to do anything with you. Please leave me to deal with my problems.

Arnav:- Khushi, please tell me. I am here to help you. I will get you out of the problem.

Khushi(now really angry):- Get me out of the problem. What the hell do you think you are. You are the one who got me in the problem. And the solution to this problem is my death as only my death will remove the problem.

Arnav(completely shocked now):- Death... What are talking Khushi. What has happened. Tell me Khushi, please. Tumhe meri kasam.

Khushi didn't know whether she should tell it to Arnav or not, but then she figured out that the only person who had the right to know was Arnav as after all due to Arnav only she wanted to die now.

Taking in a deep breath, Khushi closed her eyes.

Khushi(still with closed eyes):- I think I am pregnant...

Arnav was completed stunned into silence. This was by far the strongest shock Arnav had encountered this evening. His legs gave away and he stumbled and fell backwards. He just stopped himself before he fell down, He couldn't hear anything. Only Khushi's voice saying she was pregnant kept on echoing in his head.

Arnav(voicing his thoughts):- But how Khushi. How can it be possible. I mean how did it happen...

Khushi(angrily):- Why are you asking me. Aren't you the one who took advantage of my drunken state ?

Arnav immediately recollected all that had happened between Khushi and himself in Shimla.

Arnav :- Khushi I didn't mean that. I clearly didn't mean that. I know what I did was wrong. But I just wanted to make certain that you are sure of it. Did you go to a doctor.

Khushi:- Are you mad Arnav. How can I go to doctor. That too with amma and babuji staying in house. I have never been late in my monthly cycles and this time it is about 2.5 weeks late and also from
today morning I am feeling sick and throwing up. I just don't want to live now. What am I going to tell to amma and babuji. How will they feel when they know their daughter has gotten pregnant without marriage. That's why I was going to die. Once and for all, the problems would the completely solved.

Arnav(composing himself):- Don't be stupid Khushi. Do you think what is going to happen to Payal bhabhi, buaji and your parents after you die. They are going to be in hell trying to figure out why this tragedy had to occur in their life and would never know a moment of peace. Dying may solve the problem but it gives a life long sorrow for your loved ones.

Khushi:- Yeah so what should I do now. What can I do now. Do you want me to go on in life as if nothing has happened. Then what will I say after 5 months when my tummy will start showing. Will they have a moment of peace then. Tell me Arnav, what should I do now. After all you are the one who has spoiled my life.(At this point Khushi keeps on hitting Arnav on his chest, just like she did when she was trapped in the guesthouse).

Arnav can't stand Khushi accusing him and not knowing what to do, grabs hold of Khushi's hands and holds them behind her back. He suddenly pulls her towards him.

Arnav:- Ha Khushi. I am the one who has spoiled it and I am the one who is going to fix it too. I am going to marry you. I am going to marry you in the same mandap as Payal and Akash. And when we are married we will let everyone know that you are pregnant. Nobody will get anything to suspect then.

Khushi:- But how will we tell that we are going to get married. What will we tell amma and babuji.

Arnav:- Don't worry about that. I will handle it and within a week we will be married. Just please don't do anything stupid Khushi. Please for my sake, for the baby's sake.

Khushi just didn't know what she should do, she was so confused. She did the next best thing she could do and so she turned to go to her house. She needed time to sort things out.

As soon as Khushi turned to leave, Arnav stops Khushi by holding on to her right hand. Khushi stops but she doesn't turn back.

Arnav(going on one knee):- Khushi, I know you think that I have agreed to marry you because you are pregnant. But I would like to tell you that I want to marry you because you are the one who lights up my world. Jaane Anjaane mein I don't know when I started to fall for you but I did fall for you and now I can't visualize even a single moment without you in my life. Today when you are in front of your certain death, I had the most horrible feeling go over me - like I am going to die without you and I really don't want to relive that moment ever. I want to wake up next to you every morning for the rest of my life. Khushi Kumari Gupta, just know this - you have made me the world's most happiest man today by agreeing to marry me and I would try my level best to live up to your expectations. I promise this much Khushi, I will try to bring all the happiness in the world and give it to you.

Khushi turns to see Arnav still kneeling down with tears in her eyes.

Khushi(thinking):- This is the most perfect proposal any girl could receive. I would have been the world's happiest girl today - only if you hadn't broken my trust that day, if only you didn't take advantage of my state, if only ...

That was an excellent update...I had a doubt this would happen after reading last part...loved reading every bit of it...so they are going to get married, but not for the right reasons...hope they'd sort out their differences soon...

Waiting to see how Arnav manages the families...
