Has anyone caught the new show on Star Plus--Diya aur Baati hum?

It's about a girl who dreams about becoming a police officer and how marriage cuts short those dreams...and how her husband comes to understand those dreams.

Sounds familiar?

It's a straight copy of BBGC! Even the setting is Rajasthan! They have even put the show in the same 9 pm slot. As far as I am concerned, this is blatant cheating!

I couldn't believe for once actually as well!!!!!

in fact the other show on imagine (dharampatni) has a gujrati family where women aren't allowed to work

BUT the star plus show is far far far more similar...too similar

Yep. I heard about it and didnt like it at all. I hope BBGC gets more popular now that Sarika and Jai love story has started!

u guys r doing as same GHSP when ipkknd started they told that its similar and all but its really far diffrent so no problems yaar as the story folds the concept become diffrent if think that its same i dont think so its unfair just watch atleast for 1 month then see why to make such a fuss? i too watch both serials i like anas much more yaar so what i like bbgc more
