Well even when people live in the same family under the same roof they can move away from each other in belief ... i mean its not necessary to impose this condition of staying abroad and having no contact with family for a son or daughter to have a different perspective from his or her family and/or parents ... it can happen while living together too so IMO mohan's thinking isnt changed cos he went abroad to study and stayed there for 4 years

From the way Kastur viewed Mohan as a simple sweet nice guy, its hard to imagine that in 2 years he'd be disgusted by Gujurati/Indian culture

Its as if he had ZERO contact with his family while he was abroad and then therefore just spent his time completely apart from any Indian association

U r abs rite Mohan jaisa itna sweet nice person js 2 or 4 yers Mein aise completely chang kaise ho sakta hai ..jis culture mein wo ITNE SAALO tak pala hai Jisme bada hua Wo Culture sirf 2 ya 4 saal mein kaise bhool sakta hai ..its Imposbl b bt bcz its Js a show /reel life so nethin can happn here othwise it dose not happn In real life ppl cant chng on der own views fr der culture lyk ds in js 2 or 4 yers ...ppl der views do chng bt itne thode se saalo mein koi itna jyada to hargiz nahi badal sakta
