beboholic, Aish's south indian pull is far greater than any woman in bollywood right now. Katrina is popular in terms of box office but she isnt an 'icon', brand ambassador for an international company or carry india-wide appeal. Not to mention generally that Aish has a prominent voice, she has spoken at several events and she has done a fair bit of social work.

Katrina remains to be a popular hardworking pretty actress, but not much more than that.

The article is right...it's only in the endorsements that Bollywood actresses actually have a higher standing than the actors...in everything else, they are merely showpieces

I never thought Aishwarya was that influential as a brand ambassador, really...but before this forum, I was unaware of her South Indian pull which judging from members here is really strong...too bad she lost out to Tiger Woods, but he must have been searched for other reasons as well😉😆
