Shobna's friend & beti are here.They enquire about Angad, when Mahen comes down the stairs. They are taken aback. Shobna clarifies that this is not Angad, but her sister's mad son. Angad comes & apologises about the delay. Shobna introduces Nisha. Nisha's mom asks him to sit next to Nisha. He sits comfortably & they have a convo. Uttang is having fun whilst others are watching onâŚNisha asks Shobna for directions to the washroom. Shobna offers help, but Nisha says she'll manage to reach the washroom. Nisha tells her mom, we came to meet, that's done, now lets go. Shobna is flustered, but they just leave. Shobna blows her top at Laxmi, while Kaveri & Mahen enter the room. Angad tries defending Laxmi, but his mom is super angry & asks him not to interfere. He tries calming her down, but she says that Laxmi has snatched her son from her. Shobna continues her rant & says a bit more, then leaves. Angad tries to tell Laxmi not to mind his mom's words, but Laxmi just leaves. Raandal follows. Angad wants to follow too, but Kaveri asks him to leave her alone. Mahen says Shobna was wrong. Kaveri is thinking.
Mahen knocks on Laxmi's door, asking her to open the door as he wants to talk to her. Laxmi has covered her mouth & is crying. She wipes her tears & opens the doors. He states that she was crying. She points inwards. Mahen says that you shouldn't cry since you werent at fault. He says you are in a big dilemma about your marriage. You are being hassled by everyone, isnt it? He says he knows everything, since he is her friend. He says he is ready to marry her & asks whether she is ready to marry him too. He says no pressure, just do what your heart tells you. She reflects on Shobna's & Kaveri's words in past 2 days. She then tells Mahen that she is ready for this marriage. Kaveri has heard it all from the doorwayâŚshe blesses them tearfully & hugs Laxmi. Laxmi is shattered. Kaveri says that one day, you will be proud of your decision. Laxmi is crying. Kaveri then happily rushes out to tell others about this good news. Mahen comments on it. Then he adds that I will show you that I am a good husband & will take good care of you. Laxmi is touched. Mahen leaves & Laxmi finally puts her head on a table & cries.

Shobna, Vijay,dadaji & dadi are discussing about Nisha where Shobna is all hypered that she lost such a good alliance. Vijay tries to cool her down & says that nothing so great has happened that the rishta cant be done.If Angad says yes, then the marriage is still possible.
Kaveri comes with sweets & informs all that Mahen â Laxmi have agreed to marry. Vijay & Shobna are shocked. Vijay asks when did this happen? Dadi says that it happened within these couple of days as Kaveri had presented the idea to them & they didn't see any reason to refuse it. She says that they are happy that Laxmi is in this house only.
Vijay takes some sweet..but then dadaji says good that this decision has solved another big problem. Dadi asks which problem. He says POA âŚotherwise they would have had a lot of stress sorting it all out. This pisses Vijay & he doesn't bite the sweet.Shobna looks at Vijay.
Tek & Shobna are in a room;Tej tells Shobna whats going on in this house? Laxmi is marrying into the house where she was divorced?? He tells her that he has heard that earlier Paraag was chosen for Laxmi, then SurajâŚnow Mahen. He scares her by saying that maybe Angad is next in the queue or mebe Uttang too. He says thent Laxmi will then become draupadi ( I said this some time ago too!!!) of this house. Shobna shuts him up says she knows its Kaveri's plan to keep the POA with herself. She asks Tej to do something so that the marriage doesn't take place. Tej assures her that he has a fool proof plan up his sleeves to stop this marriage.
Laxmi is crying in the bathroom & splashing a lot of water on her face, đbut cant stop thinking about Angad. She says that she needs to finish off her attraction for Angad. She is going all mental thinking that she has agreed to marrying Mahen & needs to do complete justice to him.
