Is Deepika the new Benjamin Button of Bollywood?

I was watching Brad in Benjamin Button and it suddenly struck me that Deepika's career is just like Benjamin Button's life.. career going in reverse.

Deeps is a strange one, i don't think she's particularily alluring to be on the top or irritating enough to be black-listed. She will keep getting roles and continue her up and down journey through bollywood. Her off-screen life is what usually turns peoples heads not her on-screen choices.

Aarakshan looks promising enough, but i don't see any path-breaking films in the near future.

Deeps is stable as a daily menu. No big promises, but you get what you expect.

You are right. Even I don't watch lot of movies, but occasionally when I don't feel like watching any of her movie at all. She is like female Saifu considered hot and at top but actually they are not 😆...

what is going to bring back Deepika's mojo.. Anything?

I think she is planning to settle down in life sooner than we expect. She might be wanting to finally settle down with Sid.

uh-uh! downwards. 😉

She did manage to get rid of the eye candy tag last year...I rem Masand saying that he thinks she has more than long legs. So that's good for her. Her performances were liked if I rem right.

She needs some hits ya...that may come with the masala films she is doing right now. There is also Aarakshan.

Deepika is a really bland celebrity who sort of blends in with the crowd as opposed to say Sonam who is clearly known for being a fashionista or Anushka for her bluntness...right now she's floundering in the middle...She had that fantastic break with SRK in OSO but her films haven't even worked since then besides Love Aaj Kal and Housefull. She really needs a hit badly otherwise her star will fall soon
