I was 100% better than Sahiti: Shovon

Shovon Ganguly, who got eliminated from X Factor last week, is disappointed that Sahiti was chosen over him despite the fact that she forgot her song lyrics.
Shovon Ganguly, the second person to be eliminated from the Indian version of the singing reality show X Factor is very disappointed with his ouster as he was least expecting it. "I don't think it was a fair elimination", complains Shovon. "Everyone from audiences to the other contestants in top 11 were of the opinion that I had given a better performance".
Shovon Ganguly lost out to Sahiti in the face-off round. "Sahiti is a good singer and I have nothing against her. But in the face-off round she had forgotten the lyrics of her song which, I believe, is a big mistake. I don't know why, despite giving a flawless performance, the judges chose to eliminate me. I think my performance was 100% better than Sahiti", states Shovon much against judges Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Shreya Ghoshal's decision.
Interestingly both Shovon and Sahiti were from Sonu Nigam's team and incidentally Sonu wasn't present on the show on the day of elimination since he was performing at IIFA. "I haven't communicated with Sonu ji yet since he is out of country but I wish he was there on the show that day", says Shovon.
However Shovon, who has been learning music since childhood and has 7 years of training in classical singing, says the elimination doesn't dilute his dreams. "The fact that I made it to the top 11 category itself is a big achievement. Many people from the industry have noticed me. Pritam sir has liked my voice and I hope to get some work in Bengali films also".
Finally do we get to see him make a re-entry on the show with a wild card? "I don't know if there is a wild card round on X Factor but if there is, I am sure I shall be selected in it. Even the remaining Top 10 contestants want me back since I am a strong contender".
