Hey all
I want to get my thoughts out there before seeing the episode, i watched last week's episodes again to get a better feel of Kesar (esp right now) and so on, coz he is the one who is niggling me lol, also yesterday in the UK, they put todays and tomorrow's episode on (not sure why) as UK are a week behind, so i got to see Gulaal leaving home again, and Kesar confessing his love in front of them all, and Kesar going to Gulaal's maayke and so on...
About Kesar - whether we like it or not, Kesar is acting well how do i say it desperate, and i say this coz he has lost his intensity in how we all know Kesar has, where Kesar is his intensity best (i personally love his intensity), but what is coming across is desperation (which aint doing him any favours, just making things more worse and so on), and his forcing Gulaal to come back and so on, and not giving her space, time and what not...
The thing is the way Kesar is behaving is not right - well not sensible, we all agree on that, but do you know what it looks like from Gulaal's pov - its exactly what she said about his feelings - Its Lagao, its attachment and this is what is coming across to her, and one of the reason she is distant and so on, and wall built up around her even more, (and how she resents it everytime he says love, she actually feels insulted or shall i say violated... thats why she considers it a paap and the other issues like V's bro and so on) - and says if i stay away from him and so on, his feelings he calls love will go away/fade...
The way he begs and pleads, is kinda exactly like Kesar use to do when she was leaving home and so on, or didnt get his own way - atleast back then Gulaal use to handle it and get him in control, right now its so hard - coz he isnt an child, he is adult but he is behaving like a child in a sense - the attachment is showing to Gulaal, in demanding her to come home and so on...
You know Kesar needs a goal in his life, i know ppl say that why does everyone want him to be Vasant, true - but the thing is there is nothing wrong in being Vasant, in the sense having a goal like Vasant did, for his village, for his ppl, for his family (Vasant was entirely for that, and Kesar isnt but there is nothing wrong in doing some bits and bobs in that area...)... thats how i prefer Kesar to be in the sense of Vasant, fulfilling some things that Vasant wanted atleast doing something in that section, standing up and giving support, and this very support and support in general term is the very thing a woman needs from a man... Gulaal all these years has been on her own, supporting the family, and whoever - who has she been leaning on for support Vasant in a way, his memories and so on... but thats not support thats just relying on it
Kesar needs to learn how to support a woman, and be beside her - not opposite of her (despite how much Gulaal doesnt budge, but a change in tactics and Kesar being atleast responsible, and appreciating, mature, doing things - you know like winning a heart, winning respect, winning a name, meaning ppl remember Kesar as Kesar, making a name of himself (not ppl remember him as mostly Vasant's bro or Motabha's son and so on) - not only does the other ppl find it good, but you in yourself will feel good as well)
Winning her heart is the way to go about it... and knowing the depth of love and meaning of it and what it really means
Gulaal as i say has a long journey in whatever state she is in, and its one where she has built herself - like a routine machine, she thinks she can live like this, all her life and this will be life... she isnt exactly living, but existing - coz she has seen no life behind those 4 walls of her house, and all i can say is her dad said the right things to her, it wasnt forcing but just a general talk as such... as said in another thread, Gulaal is all about fulfilling Vasant's dream and promises which he told her and made and shared with her, and she also had some dreams of her own, esp with Vasant, but those certain dreams were left unfulfilled, and when that happens, a person tries to fulfill other ppl's dreams and so on and live for others then oneself...
Bottomline is, Gulaal doesnt need to change as a person, just her pov on her life and moving forward... and so on, which alot of things can come into as well as you know, whilst Kesar has got what it takes to be so much more, coz he already has those inner qualities that make him who he is and so on which we all like, but he could be so much more added on that... biggest change not even change but a natural thing for any person in being responsible i guess to happen i think Kesar has to go through 😊
TODAY'S EPISODE
I dont think i have any words to say about Yogesh, ok i get it that he doesnt like what just happened at his work place, but the way he goes on and on, and not even once respecting his sister and her dilemma, in the sense what she is going through, what she has lost, what she just had to go through like her dad says, do you have any idea and so on, and the way he is speaking, thats all i will say on Yogesh, though i think little by little even though Gulaal knows and thinks everything is happening coz of her, she i feel will in the end will go back, it will be HER choice and decision, whatever reason it might, one of that will be seeing her family suffering and so on
What was Kesar writing or drawing? you know i think Sudha has given him a kinda eye-opener in himself, obviously i am not going to chat about her going on and on about Talli and so on and how she sees Gulaal and that, but what Sudha said that dont mess up your life, coz dont we all want Kesar to make his life and so on, built it up - do something, make his name and so on... right now he needs a talk for him to snap out of his desperation denial mood in i am going to get Gulaal back, esp in the way he is going about it, which we all know isnt quite the right way - what i loved is that Kesar cant take anyone talking against Gulaal and saying stuff about her, and blaming her, he would prefer if ppl were blaming him and so on, then saying anything about her (but whether he sees it or not, thats what he has with going to the sarpanch in a way, if we look at the bigger picture) and yes it was harsh what Sidha says that Gulaal doesnt care for him, and maybe just maybe this is what Kesar needs to come out of his withdrawel i guess, and the more times he sees and some other ppl say it, like Gulaal did as well - that she didnt come back for him, it might just snap him out of whatever he is in... and we see another Kesar (coz there loads of sides to Kesar as we know)
I really like the scene where Gulaal is looking at Vasant's picture, and thinking of the flashbacks, because it seemed a determined Gulaal who has made some sort of decision, on what she will do next, no crying, no looking sad, and just a sullen figure
Last half of this episode esp the last scene between Kes-Gul was brilliant, it had everything in it
What i liked about Gulaal is, that she was straight to the point, why she's back, what made her, and who for and why... and a talk on what Kesar has made her feel and did to her... and its the only way i feel Kesar will finally see it and feel it - seeing as he thinks she is back for him, despite it being hurtful as well - sometimes its needed for another person to grow into a better man then they are and this is what Kesar needs... he is capable of it and also still have that certain barrier between them, with the love confession hanging over them
I knew Gulaal would only come back if it was HER own decision and choice, even if she was majboor by it, and she was as she says she had to come seeing as both the families were suffering and so on, and honour was at stake... and i do think that what Gulaal said was right when she left the house, she took everything with her, thats why now that she has come back something just isnt their entirely (i believe i guess someone said this last week, it was kinda closure for Gulaal/Vasant if we think about it the way she left and so on, and now she says today she is back coz of Kesar, but not for him) whether Kesar likes it or not, what Gulaal said today was needed in so many ways and for many reasons as well, and yes it was meant to be harsh...
I feel like i wont to justice to last half of this episode esp the last scene, coz those two scenes spoke volumes on Gulaal's state of mind, and what she had lost and what is not there with her anymore when she stepped out of the house last week, and also Kesar needed this... for his own good mostly, its not to insult him and nitpick on him as a character but for his own good he needed this...
Last scene was something else altogether, loved it and again was meant to be harsh and so real as well, for both - coz Gulaal i guess is defeated in how Kesar has behaved over the last few days and his zidd has taken her to this moment and coming back, and only wanted her back for himself seeing as this is what he kept saying in a way to her, and the desperation acts he did and going to file a complaint, and not only that Gulaal's emotions are flying around, and she is filled with anger in her... and the words that were coming out of her about he can do anything to her, now she is here, and he wants a pati, was her being in anger and so on which we saw...
I totally get why Gulaal did what she did, and so on - but we all know Kesar's idea in having her back home wasnt for that or having a total proper patni/pati relationship (even i dont believe Gulaal thinks that entirely, its just she is so tired, and like she says her atma seems to be killed by him and like she says her soul is left somewhere else when she left that house and so on, all she has here is her body/jism whilst her thoughts and mind is somewhere, so far away... - thats why such harsh behaviour in telling Kesar to do what he wants she is in front of him and so on) and i am glad that Kesar said do you even realise what you are saying and so on, and how can she even think like that... and that too about him that he would do that... (i am pretty sure even Gulaal didnt fully think of Kesar to do that as well) and then seeing Gulaal totally breaking down said in all and so did Kesar's walking out as well... finally i am glad they had this scene at the start, then having it built up and so on
I liked Gulaal explaining to him, what love really is - what the meaning of selfless love is, and what love mounts to... coz she explained it well, and its what i had been saying about love as well, Love is selfless, in love it doesnt matter the distance, or time, its not about force or based on bets and so on... and like she says its one of the reason why she is alive and somewhat living is coz that is what she has for Vasant, that kind of love.
Just like Revji baapji said Gulaal said the same thing to him, that he loves himself... is that right or wrong, i say both coz whether we like it or not.. Kesar's behaviour has been like that lately and alot of things come into, which i wont go through with it, but i think Gulaal explained the overall meaning of love
Harsh it might of been the last scene and the words Gulaal said, it was needed esp for Kesar, give him an certain eye-opener to things about her and Vasant, Gulaal herself, pati/patni ka rista, his zidd to what it has become, what love is... and so on, and if Kesar dwells on it, it will make so much sense to him on what Gulaal is trying to say and has said, and why she is the who she is and the way she is and how she is...
His love is deep and so much more, we all know that but she doesnt as such esp the way he has behaved and done - i guess it is time for Kesar to win her heart however long it takes and so on...
Also she i am thinking is she gonna go back to her bedroom or what after what just happened 😕
Som things do stick out to me, is that today she has come back in this house coz of Kesar (despite her saying not for him, the main thing is she is back coz of him) and she has come in the sense as Kesar's patni, seeing as she was determined and so angry when she did what she did in the last scene... so all in all i see a Kesar/Gulaal chapter in the house and so on
Again i will say it - Loved the second half of this episode esp the last scene 😊
PRECAP - I am actually fed of Sudha's nitpicking, i mean talk about being petty, and also playing on Gulaal's guilt as well, we all know Gulaal feels guilty on what has happened with Talli, but i dont think Talli sees it that way, and Sudha is just making it worse in not listening to what Talli has been trying to say to her and so on... and looks like Kesar is looking on
