Great post as always Lennie 😃 Thanks
Though I understand where Gulaal is coming from and her disgust with the turn of events, I also felt bad that Kesar's feelings were so misunderstood by her even though somewhere she knows that her Kesar cannot her view her like that. At the same time, Kesar needs to understand the responsibilities that come with being a husband. Gulaal knows way deep down that Kesar has not viewed her like that, but what he has for the last few days, its all added to her way of thinking and lets not forget anger and hurt she has on top of that, and Kesar feelings yes are misunderstood but i think it was needed for him to finally get it, and what it is coming out as even though its not but to Gulaal its like that and for him to understand it, Gulaal hit the spot when she says you want a Patni dont you, here i am etc, this your want and need and so on, and like you say Kesar need to understand the responsibilities that come as a hubby and also as person, a son and so on, which believe it or not - the way ppl see him and his acts, its no wonder they see him as that. Kesar needs to start emerging a mature man as well... grow in himself and understand things like love, pati, Gulaal and so onIf he thinks claiming Gulaal as his wife now is the same as he did 10 years ago then he's going down the wrong route. He's grown up now! He can't just keep her in the house with the 'wife' tag. She isn't a possession that he can just have (though I know he doesn't view her like that). Exactly, he needs to start realising this, he needs to start asking himself questions, he always asking others questions, he needs to aks himself what is it that he sees in this relation as pati/patni does he know what it entails and so on, and understand it...You know the word possession, i feel that is apt for Gulaal today coz this is what she actually feel like today and coming back here, like she was forced to...I want to write more but the heat is killing my brain! I hate the heat as well
