According to the initial promos of BAVD, Bharti has many talents.
The voice-over says that when rishta's come along, some are taken with her paintings and others with her singing.
Well, I'd like to see those talents if you please.
If Bharti possesses these talents then I want to see some evidence of them đ.
No seriously, I would like to see an episode or two where these talents of her's are showcased. Perhaps Bharti could start on a painting. And over the course of the next few months while she's down and depressed (and we know she will be đĄ), maybe she can use painting as a way to express herself. And at the end we can see what her soul conjures up.
And could we not also see Bharti singing? Maybe, we can see an episode where Dhumroo hears Bharti singing in her bedroom ( as you do đ), and could then gather everyone in the house and insist Bharti sing a song accompanied by a sitar. Because I'm sure the promos not only showed a sitar, but when the Laal's go to see Bharti for the first time, Dhumroo comments on the instruments too.
Come on CV's, show us her talents. Give me some realism here. Someone in the real world would make use of these talents no? Even if it was in a vey small everyday way.
I want to see Bharti doing something other than just cooking, or turning down the corners of her bed! And while we're on the subject of doing other things, does this girl never read a book? Does she never just lie back on the sofa and get lost in the pages of a novel? Does no-one in that house ever watch tv? Or go and sit in the garden?
Does Veena not go to college? Does she not have friends? Does Murli never meet up with friends anymore? Do they never come to visit him? Does this family not have any other rishtedaars that pay them the occasional social visit?
I want to see more everyday activities in the lives of these people. Rotating the few chores all the time is not enough.
They all appear to be a bunch of lazy layabouts now that they are living the life of Riley on Baba Chauhans money! Fair enough, if you're lucky. But atleast show them with interests other than food preparation, consumption of it and the occasionally arti!
