Haha yes they never mentioned anything specific.

But she was always shown as a curious girl, someone who was interested in learning the language etc of the city.

However since we found out after so many months that Shaan's passion was always music(Gosh they really should have chosen something else!) maybe we can find out more about Khanak's dreams

Waise initially RBO only explored ShaNak as a couple

Only with Rock On we got Shaan's exploration and depth of character.

I only wish they would do that with Khanak too.Its high time, don't you think?

Yes I would like to see her speak a better English,just simple words and sentences.As for ambitions and all,that's may be we are hoping for too much!Let's see lol

Lol Zenn,I was being serious!As of now I am happy that we are finally getting a good track.May be once they get this going steadily,they can show something with Khanak too.If we request now,these mahan CV's would be confused again I guess as to how to proceed lol

See the thing is, I refuse to sit down and see this happen to Khanak. I want them to explore her life and her dreams too.Whenever they choose to do so.

lol smitha! that is exactly what yummy and i have been saying till now that once this track is in full swing, then they should introduce something for khanak as well. and i don't see how they would be two different tracks that way. one shanak and so one track.

Yumna darling...lovely post dear and I have even asked requested so many times that we get to see the Khanak who wnated to complete her education the Khanak who started to learn English fro herself and the speech that she gave in English in Pune...

I so hate the Khanak using Thankuu and Pleeje...as she had already learn these words and more by the time she was in Pune and gave that ebautiful speech...

I hope the CV's take note and do something about it...I even requested in the CV's thread to show Khanak taking up Education...basic education...like completing HSE..(High School Education)..this way the show that started of with it being a story of a young vllage widow remarriage and her journey with the Man responsible for it..etc can now focus on her growth to with her moving in the city...

If the CV's can give her high heels and shinny clothes to show her being citified then...why not an education...Nonone is asking to mnake her a business woman ot a rocket sciensetist but simply realiseing that her dream was education...or completing it...would be great really.

As far as her being Shaan's support system ...she always has been and will be and her helping him out ..can see her doing that by maybe catering food..as she loves cooking nah...etc...and along with this she can get an education too..

I hope the CV's truly hear us out with what can be done with Khanak and her character's growth...from a femal POV as well as an answer to the millions of girls who are not given education for being born girls.

Her getting education would send out a strong message to so amny girls , women and men in general that Educatoion is so important for all...not jjust boys and Age is not a limit or barrier from getting oneself educated.

Being a Youth Channel and all...Star One should truly pursue this ...issue via RBO.

hope they show new track as shanaks journey and nt shaans journey.im just little bit scared knowing wat kind of channel star1 is.i want her 2 do somethng...evn thoh shez nt educated ppl doesnt need much education 2 survive n mumbai.der r lot of oppurtunities 4 them 2 work. CVs we are blindly trusting u plz dnt prove us blind...

ok, just got up from a game of ludo with my cousins and while waiting for Fajr decided to scan the forum. have logged in from my phone, so won't be able to respond in detail to this wonderful post by yummy and i don't think that i even need to. i agree with each and every word of her's.

what yummy said is thought provoking and justified. plz yaar don't taint it by branding it feminist. if what yummy demands for khanak is a sign of feminism tu phir are me, you and every girl here a feminist just because we refuse to let go of her dreams or aspire to have existences separate than our husbands?

i completely understand this track is mainly about shaan and i have no plans to raise a hoopla about it and why should i? everyone wanted it and we are getting it and that is very good. but i think what yummy and i are trying to say is that maybe both shaan and khanak could develop and flourish side by side. khanak is not your usual hindi soap heroine, so why should she behave like one now?

i really hope that after shaan gets on track with regard to his career, the CVs have something in store for khanak as well. and there is no secret agenda here trust me lol.
