There is no dearth for creativity in our country. having said that, trying to analyze why then r we subjected to mediocrity. its even more appalling to see these channels starting new shows which lack everything. like 'aisa des hai mera'..........the pilot itself was so sub-standard.

the problem is with the execution and not stretching the show. 'Lost' is one of my favorite series..........originally, the show was not supposed to last this long..........but hey, the show's a hit and the creators r making hay while the sun is still shining........but I have absolutely no complaints coz they've never compromised with the characterization, yet coming up with new twists all the time.

all said and done- am still optimistic about ELAS.

The premise of ELAS was great...Only if they stick to the original story and not "Indianize" it beyond belief.
Case in point, Anu's magical powers, Tulika's evilness and always being ahead of everyone, Anu's neighbors and even milkman being nasty when Anu's pregnancy became news and now neighborhood bullies demanding Anu get married. It is a modern story set in urban setting and the writers are trying to apease the masses. Go figure....
