Actors/Actresses who do not work w/Johars, Chopras

😆😆😆 So, there are a lot of actors/actresses who have made a name for themselves without the prestigious Johar and Chopra production houses. Maybe some of the actors/actresses did a few films with them (😉), but that did not dictate how successful their careers would become. Many names come to mind: Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Biphasa Basu, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai, Sanjay Dutt, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, etc. Do you respect these names more just because Johar/Chopra did not work with them that much? I do because the Shahrukh Khans, Rani Mukherjis, Preity Zintas, Saif Ali Khans, etc. relied so much on Johar/Chopras to get to where they are today.

Please share your thoughts on this! It should be a interesting topic and eye-opener!

johar/chopra movies are full of poeple who are unecessary there..

its better to watch other movies waisay bhi yash raj movies lost its charm long ago

Salman did work with Karan Johar, 1 Supporting Role... KKHH... and there is 1 movie coming with YRF 👍🏼

3 ATBB Films = Salman Khan = widout Johar/Chopra

1 ATBB Film = Karan Johar = KKHH [Salman in it 😛]

1 ATBB Film = Yash Chopra = DDLJ

Aamir hasn't worked with Karan Johar, he has worked with Chopras... Still his all 3 ATBB movies were without Johar/Chopra

But, this is one thing you can agree on. Salman Khan does not need Chopras/Johars to be successful and he never did. He is a one-man industry and noone dictates the position he has today! 👍🏼

Salman Khan only did one supporting role in KKKH. But, I will say this again: Salman Khan does not need Chopras/Johars to be successful and he never did! 😃😃😃 And doing one film with Yash Raj is not going to make or break his career! And also the same thing applies to Aamir Khan! And funny thing is that SRK is still considered the top Khan while Salman and Aamir are self-made superstars who can have hits with any director! 👏

Preity Zinta & Saif Ali Khan made their marks w/o Johar/Chopra.

it's just they seemed promising to the Johars/Chopras eyes & then they started casting them. 😊

Preity's major blockbusters are with them - KHNH and Veer Zaara. So is Saif - Hum Tum, KHNH. I do agree that they made their marks without Johars and Chopras in the beginning, but it wasn't as significant as KHNH, Veer Zaara, and Hum Tum! 😛

If Ash doesn't work with YRF then who did Mohobbatein and Dhoom 2? YRF has tried to work with almost all the mainstream actresses of their time.. Sri devi, madhuri, ash, kareena, priyanka, karishma, rani, preity... Kjo offered dostana to Ash but she refused it.. Kjo offered KKHH to ash but she refused it...
